When God forsook (broke His law for us) His Word under the old covenant, Jesus' body was broken the Bread of "Life" and His garment was divided. Him being the Word of Life was nailed to the cross so that we could be relieved of all the added laws that where due to the transgressions of the 10 original written in the "Stone".
Jesus is the Stone that the builders rejected for man hates the Word of God... and those who bring it.

But for those who LOVE the Word of our Father because we understand that lawlessness is not good, we are not to worry
For He Is Risen!
God raised him back up on the 3rd day as our NEW COVENANT WORD for them that can believe in the work at the cross. The Stone or Rock which is Christ, has been condensed to 2 commandments which if done correctly, fulfill all 10
Why is it that men will accept that there is the Spirit of God.. but they always deny THE WORD?

SCRIPTURE FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TRUTH AND DO NOT LEAN ON THE TRADITIONS OF MAN, HAVING NO USE FOR SPAMMED SCRIPTURE AS ONE PUT IT:
John 1:1-2
1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
KJV
John 1:12-14
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
KJV
1 John 5:7
7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
KJV
1 John 1:1-2
1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
2(For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
KJV
Rev 19:13
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
KJV

John 7:19
19 Did not Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keepeth the law? Why go ye about to kill me(THE LAW/WORD/ROD OF GOD)?
KJV
John 8:37-47
37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.
38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.
39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.
40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.
41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.
42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.
44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.
45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.
46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?
47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.
KJV

Here is Jesus (The Word) in the OT:
Gen 15:1
15:1 After these things the Word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.
KJV

We must keep the Word Alive in the earth for without the Light of Him, darkness comes and we all live in misery!
Matt 4:4
4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
KJV

"Broke his law for us"? What does that mean?
He forsook His old covenant law and nailed him to the cross.... for our sakes.
Col 2:14
14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
KJV
Who was nailed to the cross? Wasn't it the law of the flesh, wasn't it Jesus the Word?

I think it would be more accurate to say that he fulfilled his law by forsaking his son and breaking him.

Who is the Bread of life? Jesus right? And Jesus told us to eat of his body and drink his blood, why are we to eat of his body? Because he is the Word of life being the Living Word who became flesh and the Word was manifested unto us so that we seen the Word in human form in action. Jesus is the Word and the Father as His Word are One. Why are we to drink of his blood? Because the Spirit resides in his blood as in ours it is our Dna making us reborn into the image of Christ from above.
The Word of God under the old covenant was broken(forsaken BY GOD) on the cross, his body is Bread manna Word to live by. Our E-manual to show us how we should live, being God with us our Emmauel

Right, but the son was broken to honor and fulfill the law of Moses. I can't conceive in any way that that law was broken.

Do you understand that the old law is dead to those who are now in the resurrected Christ? Christ fulfilled the law in a flesh body to redeem man, but then the Word died and he was raised back up as our new covenant. If you don't see what I am saying yet, then ponder on it and ask God to reveal to you who Jesus is.

The law isn't dead; those who are in Christ are dead to the law through Christ, and have received a new life in the heavenlies.

God will not just leave the natural Jews with no law because God's Word is good and they are in covenant with Him, but the old covenant is fading away as the natural Jews who are under it are either passing on or coming under Christ who is the new covenant Word. But the law of the flesh was nailed to the cross because that is what God sent His Word who took on the form of a man to do, to fulfill the law to be an acceptable sacrifice to the Father then be forsaken and raised anew.

Why do you think that when Jesus was dying on the cross they mentioned that he thirst? It was because the living water was drying up on the cross and they could only give him vinegar meaning the Old wine of Israel had gone sour. There was no more Light of the world from 9am-3pm for the Word was separated from the Father being forsaken. The world is upheld by the Hand of God who is Jesus, the Word at the right hand of God that He creates and does all things by, through and with.
Heb 7:11-12
11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
KJV
Heb 8:13-9:1
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.
KJV

The old covenant is long gone. It was near unto fading away nearly 2000 years ago according to the writer of Hebrews; how much more so today to the point of irrelevance..

Yes, the Word died 2,000 yrs ago and was resurrected as the new coventant Word. But not all received him.
But the Bible says it is still active but is fading away ready to be finished for the Word is the same yesterday today and forever and there are still those who are under the old covenant for God. Yet those who are captive to the old covenant law will not ever be able to fulfill it in their body and will be judged by it because they did not come under Christ.
Heb 8:13-9:1
13 In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away.

There are 7,000 OT devout Jews who are alive to this day and will be saved by grace they are the remnant the dry bones.
Rom 2:24-29
24 For the name of God is blasphemed among the Gentiles through you, as it is written.
25 For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.
26 Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?
27 And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress the law?
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
