Also regarding the prophesies about the AoD in Daniel - none of these were completely fulfilled by A4E in 163 BCE. And why does Jesus say in Mark 13:14 WHEN you see the AoD standing were it ought not.... Anyway if you want to say [wrongly] that it was fulfilled in 70 AD, THEN THAT IS A DUAL FULFILLMENT. 163BC and 70 AD were two partial fulfilments, a careful reading of Daniel makes it clear that neither of those 'desolations' fully fit the prophesies.
So we await the unfolding of the end time events as so comprehensively prophesied throughout the Bible.

Actually, Daniel 11 WAS fulfilled circa 163 B.C.E. and following! Part of chapter 11 was not only about Antiochus IV Epiphanes and his abomination of desolation, but was also about Caesar Augustus and Herod the Great! Furthermore, the prophecy continues into the first four verses of chapter 12 and is also talking about the Roman Empire when Yeshua` (Jesus) comes on the scene. And, yes, ALL of the prophecies found in chapters 11 and 12 are COMPLETELY FULFILLED!

Yeshua` Himself also fulfilled much of Daniel 9:26-27 by confirming (strengthening) the DAVIDIC covenant for a Seven, in the middle of the Seven being cut off and causing the sacrifice and the gifts to cease by satisfying God's requirement for a sacrifice, and for the overspreading of the PEOPLE'S abominations, leaving the household of Isra'el "desolate" (Matthew 23:38) until the consummation, that is, when they can say "Baruwkh haba' bshem YHWH" or "Welcome (to) the Comer in the authority of YHWH" (badly translated as "Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the LORD"; Matthew 23:39 cf. Psalm 118:26).

It was YESHUA` who fulfilled Daniel 9:27, not some "antichrist" figure in the future!
