God's love for us should be the centerpiece and root of our joy in Him! Because we would have perished in our sin and paid the due penalty of death for our trespasses and iniquities but Christ Jesus stepped in as the propitiation and atoning sacrifice for us! Thus we have great reason to rejoice and live in continual joy! Joy does not permeate from within our human spirit and it should not be confused with happiness but joy is a heavenly state that permeates into our spirit and hearts! Joy is a natural result and fruit of the Holy Spirit of God dwelling in us! For the bible records that "The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him." (Psalm 28:7). I just want to encourage my fellow believers in Christ to never allow the joy of the Holy Ghost be removed or dampened in your life! The joy of the Lord gives strength, life, hope, inspiration and power! The joy in the Holy Ghost will show despite circumstances and issues! You may run, dance, shout, weep, smile, fall out, speak in tongues, lift your hands or just have a confidence and determination to continue on in the Faith! Rejoice, Rejoice and continue to allow the joy of Jesus to fill your souls and enlighten your dark situations! "For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning." (Psalm 30:5)
"Those who sow with tears will reap with songs of joy." (Psalm 126:5)
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore." (Psalm 16:11)
"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith," (Galatians 5:22)
