The Auburn Basketball Team traveled to Jerusalem to play the top three Israeli Basketball teams. They have won the first two games. They moved to Tel Aviv for games two and three. Number two was played today. The third game tomorrow. Palestine is shooting rockets at Tel Aviv. One more game and the team comes home.

The guys have had a once in a lifetime experience. Seeing the most notable sights, swimming in the Dead Sea, (little accident at the Dead Sea. One player rubbed his eyes and had problems seeing for a while.) Baptized at the River Jordan, praying at the wailing wall. Yesterday, they had lunch at the Palestinian Basketball Coaches' home, along with their team. Auburn and Palestine are talking about the possibility of a future game. I'm excited for the kids and it appears about 100 fans and family followed the team on their trip.

it's definitely an interesting experience. But it's dangerous because you never know when Palestine might attack. And on the one hand, it is good to visit Israel, touch the shrine and swim in the Dead Sea
