Being born again has nothing to do with us today and it never had anything to do with salvation - search and see. It was the ticket for Jews to enter the Kingdom preached by Christ and preached only to Israel. It required both water baptism and Spirit Baptism. That was it. The Kingdom never happened and Christ has never returned because Israel never accepted Him - see Mt 23:39 and Ac 3:19-21

How does judgement after death imply being born again?
Lazarus died, Jesus raised him to life and he became a great attrachtion to the curious, yet he also died a second time.
This was a sign that Jesus did to show that he was the Son of God.
