Lets talk about what happens after we die!!!

In the old test people believed when they died they died .(soul sleep)I think the new test. is being mis-interpeted. Does our spirit go back to God and our flesh rot and our soul sleeps? When Jesus died did not His Spirit go back to His Father and his body and soul slept in the grave until He was resurected? This is another doctorine that needs to be debated faithfully.I believe it ties a lot of end time prophacy together.Crooner

I know Jag so what do you call it? Where does the soul go after the body dies? Jesus soul stayed in grave with body until resurected, his Spirit went to His father. Sorry I used soul sleep. I know jw's and sda's call it that. So what would you call it. Davids body and soul stayed in grave. Who are the people Jesus brings back with him? It appeared to old test people they layed dorment until ressurection. new test has a different twist that is debated by few.

I don't have a name. Yahshua was the first to be risen from the grave. After that the souls that slept (die) arose from their graves as well. (Matthew 27:52-53) And when Yahshua returned to the Father. All souls follow Him.So when we die. Our souls return to the Father who gave it...and our flesh body will return to the ground. Ecc 12:7 Says spirit not soul. remember there is a body soul and spirit. The spirit always goes back to God. The soul sleeps. Jesus uses sleep for death. The new body and soul are resurected at the seconed coming. Most people believe you go to heaven when you die. I am challenging that.
