In reading Proverbs this morning the following scripture (30:27) led me to consider other references to the locust.Proverbs 30:27 The locusts have no king, Yet go they forth all of them by bands; The locust army have no visible king but they are in strong bands. So...they have no ruler, perhaps meaning they aren't in just one nation but are all over the world working their iniquity or....their only leader, the one they give allegiance to, is not yet here physically but in spirit only.Revelation 9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth; and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have powerIn the time of the end the locust army is given power. Their power is given by God...a power to sting with the poison of deceit, deception, lies, false doctrine, etc.Revelation 9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue hath his name Apollyon. When Satan is released he is the king of the locust army (odd that their king in 9:11 is the same one that led those of the 9/11 attacks). It appears to me that those "bands of locusts" are at work now..........Whirlwind

cankerwormFrom: The Columbia Encyclopedia, Sixth Edition | Date: 2007 Print Digg del.icio.us cankerworm name for two destructive inchworms , or larvae of geometrid moths. The spring cankerworm ( Paleacrita vernata ) and the fall cankerworm ( Alsophila pometaria ) are named for the seasons at which the adults emerge from underground pupation. The spring cankerworm larva overwinters as a pupa, the fall cankerworm as an egg. The larvae, dark green to brown and about 1 in. (2.5 cm) long, feed on the leaves and trees. The spring cankerworm has two pairs of posterior appendages (prolegs); the fall cankerworm has three. The wingless female lays her eggs on the bark, When alarmed, cankerworms drop and hang suspended in midair at the end of a long silken thread secreted from their mouths; they ascend this thread after the danger has passed.Description: Two species of cankerworms occur. Both attack early in the spring just as the leaves are beginning to appear, or they sometimes attack the buds before the leaves open. The spring cankerworm is the more common species in Kansas. Adult females of both species are wingless moths. The fall cankerworm adult emerges in October and November, whereas the spring cankerworm adult does not emerge until late February and March. The females of both species crawl up the trunk of the tree to deposit eggs. Eggs of both species hatch in April or early May and the young devour the developing leaves. Dispersal is accomplished when the small caterpillars are blown from one tree to another. Large numbers of larvae may annoy passersby because the often hang from a strand of silk. Upon maturity, larvae descend to the ground on a silk thread. They then burrow into the ground, spin a cocoon and pupate.PalmerwormAny of several caterpillars that injure fruit trees by feeding on their leaves, especially the small green caterpillar of the North American moth Dichomeris ligulella. From the way they suddenly appear in large numbers like a throng of pilgrims

Joe 1:4 That which the palmerworm hath left hath the locust eaten; and that which the locust hath left hath the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm hath left hath the caterpiller eaten. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Nah 3:15 There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off, it shall eat thee up like the cankerworm: make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locusts. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------Nah 3:16 Thou hast multiplied thy merchants above the stars of heaven: the cankerworm spoileth, and flieth away.

That is very interesting Kriss! Thank you.Nature is a wonderful teacher. Father's lesson about the tares really came to mind last spring. When you are in the garden notice how many weeds look so much like the plant you wish to cultivate. They often grow side by side and at times the imposter is very, very difficult to tell from the true plant. There can be just a slight color variation, or the leaf is a tad larger or smaller, at least until they have almost taken over. Then, I have to get busy and get rid of them. It's easier to do when just one or two are there but often they can take over before I know it. A great lesson for our country to keep in mind. ........Whirlwind

I don't believe this or endorse it but it is an interesting theoryIf John had never seen modern technology how would he describe. "The locusts looked like horses prepared for battle. On their heads they wore something like crowns of gold, and their faces resembled human faces. 8Their hair was like women's hair, and their teeth were like lions' teeth. 9They had breastplates like breastplates of iron, and the sound of their wings was like the thundering of many horses and chariots rushing into battle. 10They had tails and stings like scorpions, "Now we come to the description of the "LOCUSTS" and I will come back to verses 3-6 and explain them later on when I have shown you what the LOCUSTS and the SCORPIONS really are, so that the description of what they do will make more sense to you, afterwards.7. "And the shapes of the LOCUSTS were like unto (similar to) horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were (what looked similar to) crowns like gold, and their faces were like the faces of men.8. And they had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were like the teeth of lions.9. And they had breast-plates (armour), that looked like breast-plates of iron(metal); and the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.10. And they had tails like scorpions tails, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men 5 months (tormenting them)."So these "LOCUSTS" were like unto "horses prepared for battle." In John's day the only type of mobile military machine was an armoured-horse (prepared unto battle) or an armoured-horse pulling a chariot. However, these "horses prepared unto battle" were flying (locusts fly), and so he was shown flying war-machines, that had what looked similar to a crown of gold on their heads; faces like the faces of men; breast-plates of metal; the sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle; tails like scorpions with stings in them. Sound familiar? They should do; most of you have seen them. Remember Kuwait? Helicopter gunships.

Saudi Arabia is very sunny and with the sunlight on the rotor-blades, looking down on them flying, it would (and did) appear like a crown on the locust's (helicopter's) head.Looking at them from the front with the two windows (eyes); the nose and some had a mouth with teeth like lion's teeth painted on them; they looked like a face, but also, men sit in them and they certainly have faces like the faces of men.John said they had breast-plates like breast-plates of iron (metal) because they are made of metal (aluminium) and he didn't say aluminium because it had not been invented then and wouldn't be, for almost 2000 years into the future. The sound of their wings was "like the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle." The only flying-machine that sounds like that is a HELICOPTER.They had tails like scorpions (they stick up in the air) and there were stings in their tails (the tail rotor-blade).The verse that causes the most confusion and would prevent most people from recognising the LOCUSTS as helicopters is verse 8 because of the reference to them having hair like the hair of women. Helicopters do not have hair like the hair of women - but in the Gulf War they did.The key is in the past. In John's day all the women, except those in disgrace, had very long hair because they were not allowed to cut their hair short. If they were in disgrace their hair was cut for them, as a sign that they were in disgrace.A lady's hair was known as her glory and her "covering". The operative word here is "covering" and that word is the key to the riddle.John was shown the helicopters flying, with the sun on their rotor-blades which made them look like "crowns like gold", but he was also shown them on the ground, where they were kept under camouflage nets that hung down to the ground and was their "covering".your brother in christRyan Fitz

Repost of Crooners find of twisted Scriptures out there And in those days shall men [those without the enlightenment of the holy spirit] seek death [a change or conversion from their position], and could not find it; and shall desire to die [be converted] and death [conversion] shall flee from them [the reforms were uncertain of being carried out for no one knew if reforms would be sustained or perish]." Revelation 9:6"And the shapes of the locusts [truths] were like unto horses [doctrines] prepared unto to battle [combat or debate with error]; and on their heads [the priests of these truths] were as it were crowns like gold [with divine authority], and their faces [appearance of these truth bearers] were as the faces of men [Christians]." Revelation 9:7"And they [the locust truths] had hair [justification] as the hair of women [an ample covering], and their teeth [rending criticisms] as the teeth of lions [of divine justice]." Revelation 9:8"And they [the locust truths] had breastplates [righteousness], as it were breastplates [righteousness] of iron [which are impregnable]; and the sound of their wings [messages Scripturally supported by the wings of the Old and New Testaments, wings of an eagle] was as the sound of chariots [the message of organizations] of many horses [doctrines] running to battle [prepared for controversy]." Revelation 9:9.............................................................................................................Well thats about as backward twisted a scriptre example I have seen for awhile this is a great lesson you guys should learn discernment from this it all sounds reasonable on the surface but look closely And they (the locust truths) had breastplates (righteousness) anywhere in scripture it refers to Locusts it is to describe Satan and or his army of fallen angels. so you see how backwards this is it is saying Satans Locust army is truth and righteouness!!!!!!!!!!!!Now look at the rest it is totally the oppiste of Gods Worda good example of how Satan will twist the word and it will sound right to the untrained ear Discernment.Discernment!!!!__________________
