The holy word of our lord shows a love for us in his baptism. John the baptist worked in faith to give word of our lord's mission on earth:
Matthew 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance. but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
Jesus and his loving father gave witness also of the creation, fall, redemption and resurrection of mankind.
Noah and his three sons together with their wives suffered much to be carried by God thru the flood safely in the ark and to continue life upon the earth when so much was troubling during his time.
Genesis 7:13 In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
God showed his love for life and mankind when he delivered them.
The warm and pleasant good fruits of the holy spirit of God and gold tried in the fire of God's salvation he offers us and supplies those who desire to serve him are wonderful and marvelous, he truly is glorious.
Galatians 5
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.
25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.
There are good fires like the burning bush of God that visited Moses on the mountain of the lord. He did not consume the bush.
Exodus 3
2 And the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.
3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.
4 And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.
5 And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground.
God's warm fires warm our hearts with love for him and our neighbors on earth. We can serve God by helping each other, worshipping God together in churches.
Another interesting story is of Babylon and Daniel, three cast into a furnace and a fourth came out like the son of God.
The king of Babylon at that time made a pagan image of gold and decreed that anyone that did not bow to his golden image would be cast into the furnace.
Daniel 3
23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.
The deliverance of Daniel and the faithful of Israel is also a loving act of God.
