In 1846, Alexandrian slave trade was at risk by the federal government, so congress returned parts of Virginia, Alexandria, Arlington to Virginia.
So the slave trade caused Virginians to gain back those areas.

Seems reasonable to restore DC to what it was intended to be before the slave traders of Virginia demanded those cities back.
This will restore sanity to Virginia politics to give more equal representation in congress

SCOTUS issues urgent judgment late Monday, clears path for state to cut Dem House seats by 50 percent

Key takeaways

Report an issue

  • Racial Gerrymandering Overturned: The Supreme Court struck down districts drawn to enhance Black voter power under the 1965 Voting Rights Act, allowing Louisiana to redraw congressional maps, likely reducing Democratic seats from two to one.
  • Judicial Clash: Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented strongly, criticizing the ruling as prioritizing power over principles, while Justice Samuel Alito defended the immediate enforcement, calling the dissent baseless and irresponsible.
  • Election Impact: Louisiana’s primary elections are on hold until new maps are drawn, with the court waiving the usual 32-day waiting period to avoid unconstitutional elections.

Democrats are so furious they want to get rid of their own appointed supreme court
And force their redistricting map into effect again

Shows how lawless they are

Regardless of others lawlessness, keep your own faith in God and His Christ.

Matthew 24
11 Many false prophets will appear and mislead many. 12 Because lawlessness is increased, the love of most people will grow cold. 13 But the one who endures and bears up [under suffering] to the end will be saved. 14 This good news of the kingdom [the gospel] will be preached throughout the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end [of the age] will come.

Rep. Wesley Hunt praises Virginia Supreme Court for ‘right decision’

Rep. Wesley Hunt, R-Texas, criticizes Democrats’ approach to racial gerrymandering and voter ID laws, advocating for merit over identity politics.

Congressman Wesley Hunt (R-TX) on the House Judiciary Committee criticizes Democrats' stances on racial gerrymandering and voter ID, calling their arguments a 'soft bigotry of low expectations.' He champions a colorblind Constitution and advocates for merit over identity politics. Hunt explains the Democratic Party's declining support among Black voters, especially Black men, citing concerns over open border policies and biological males competing in women's sports.

After the Virginia Supreme Court rejected the results of the recent Democratic effort to effectively wipe out Republican representation in the state, Democratic pundits and activists have latched onto a proposal by Michigan State law professor Quinn Yeargain to gut the court by forcing the retirement of the current justices, appointing liberal activists, and then reversing the opinion. It is extremely telling that some are pushing the raw muscle play to retake power in Washington, particularly in light of the calls to pack the United States Supreme Court once the party is back in control.

Virginia Democrats face 'desperation and fury' after the Commonwealth's Supreme Court blocked their redistricting map, which would have favored them with 10 districts against Republicans' one. Internal discussions, revealed by a leaked New York Times report, show Democrats considering an unusual gambit to replace the entire state Supreme Court, potentially forcing retirements by lowering the retirement age of justices. This move has drawn sharp criticism from Republicans.
