I saw that video. Mamdani also was glad the Muslim Socialist won the primary in Michigan.

The sooner we realize something the far better off we had been .

I find it interesting in how such a person can get into power in a city that is renowned as one of the most capitalist places on earth.

Which shows how accommodating a free democracy can be that it can house two opposing ideas together. That it allows both to play out even if one can do damage.

Which supports that this is more about an ideological battle fundementally. Economics is used as the sweetner to introduce the ideology. But who knows what that is. Its an experiment. A mix of Marxism, Islamism, identity politics. Who knows what the outcome will be.

But what I do know is in the end some truths always stand in the end and any idea that defies them will not last. Will be exposed as unreal or damaging. Its just a pity that we have to learn that the hard way. Though those who have been the same will warn that its just history repeating itself.

Thats why its most appealing to the youth as they cannot relate to such history. Or that history has been erased from their memory by the very ideologues that they are supporting.
