Then HE said to those who believed On HIM . IF ye continue in me ye shall KNOW the TRUTH
and the Truth shall make you free ............
Now a word written from paul long , long ago .
Shall we sin because we are under grace , GOD forbid , dont you KNOW
that to whom YE OBEY its HIS servants you truly are . Whether of sin unto death
or of obediance unto righteousness .
For He took our sins upon the tree , that we being DEAD TO SIN should NOW LIVE UNTO RIGHTEOUSNESS .
THE POWER of the BLOOD of CHRIST . THE POWER of the indwelling HOLY SPIRIT
given to those who belong to Christ . A new creature .
But let all remember this well , GOD wont be mocked
he who sows to the flesh , shall of the flesh reap corruptoin
but he who sows to the SPIRIT shall reap ever lasting life . Let all that draws breath both praise and thank the glorious
and the wonderous and the marvelous LORD .

1Jn_1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1Jn_3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
A seemingly "contradiction"...how do we resolve this?

Yes indeed . There are many IFS we ought to pay attention to in scripture . Yes indeed .
For we are made partakers of Christ , IF
Whose house we are , IF
Yes there are many Ifs and i suggest we over look none of them but rather take heed unto them .
For every word is for the good of the hearer and the doer . Yes , many IFS all over . i agree we must take heed
to all things written .
...and how easily these small "words" are often overlooked..God bless
