It's time to clear the religious fog and have a clear view of God's Spirit.
What we already know about the Spirit? Roughly. This is what makes you alive, spiritually. He opposes sin. Has connection with Heavenly Father. He gives us guidance, wisdom, prudence. He is the source of righteousness, love and power. There are also mentions about miracles and extraordinary abilities.

What I understand so far. In Russian language everything has a gender. For me it is natural to say Spirit is he. But I see no gender or personality in the Holy Spirit. God takes care of His creation through laws of physics and nature, evolutionary selection, reflexes and instincts. It is an automatic system of regulations working as a whole to keep the Universe ticking. But for us humans, God dedicated part of Himself - His nature - His Spirit. This is what makes us alive beyond automatisation. “But while the child is little, he exists under supervision of servants and housekeepers as a slave, despite being the heir of everything.” This is how we come to this world. We are unable to understand when we are toddlers. We just rely on instincts to survive - we eat, drink and cry. The Holy Spirit is our guidance soon after we become spiritually alive. And Spirit is life and love of God. This God's love creates Life in us. And when you are alive, you'll be grateful for this biggest treasure in the world. “Sell everything that was valuable to you and get the most valuable pearl.”
When you face the Spirit, you may think he is God, he is so pure and bright. But also you will have a pleasant feeling in your flesh. Flesh thinks that God loves it. That inspiration is a substitute people have to God, because flesh likes to be valuable to the Lord. This is a recipe for false teachers, prophets and messiahs. They all think that God has chosen them because of their leadership skills, talants, intelligence, or else. God demands sacrifice of your flesh, and has no intentions to lift you up. You can't face God before rejecting and killing flesh as it was true for the highest priest in the Jewish Temple before entering the Holy of Holy. No one can come to God without being pure enough. “Highest priest” it is you are, who's under the Holy Spirit’s control. When you are under control of the flesh, you are like a goat. When you hate sin, in despair of being a slave of instincts and have a meek and give up attitude towards God you are like a lamb, ready to be sacrificed. So, reject your feelings and have no opinions before God. Then hold on to God's Spirit. It is easy to choose God over something bad and evil, but harder to give up pleasure and any other sources of joy. But it is easier to understand what God and His Spirit is like, when you reject any good and prioritize only God, as mighty good. This is what it means to reject and deny oneself.
What is God's Spirit like? My first impression was that God Himself is like a silent Wisdom, quiet, gentle, but unbreakable and unbendable. His Words are already spoken. You just need to be very quiet in your heart to hear. Opinions and ideas are too noisy. My second impression is that Spirit is a wordless prayer. Just now I came up with a metaphor - God gave to us part of Himself and this essence is still tied to Him and wants to come back. It's why the Spirit is constantly praying, He’s missing God. Maybe it’s not a metaphor at all. So, the Spirit is not God, not the source of Will and Word, but power of connection, like a magnet force or gravity’s curvature of space and time dragging planets to a star. What I can say, Spirit has no need for inspiration! He has everything from God directly. No need for teachings, food, sex, or games to please him. If you are not alined with The Spirit, or luck of the Spirit you will carry your flesh to church and read scripture to inspire it and convince it not to commit sin, as God won't like it and you will be a bad person.

As soon as you alined with the Spirit, you will start your spiritual journey full of trials. People, colleague's, friends and family members won't understand you. You will skip their entertainments and parties, or will be there staying alone. When there are attacks and arguments, it will be easier to be with God and Spirit, because you will be awake. The worst thing is a routine, when you are losing awareness. There will be work to align your desires and what you want in exchange for your spiritual efforts. Everything will fall off, even desires to have fruits and gifts of the Spirit. Only one motivation in the Spirit - to be connected to God.

You will understand that thinking and talking about God is not the same as being connected to Him, and talk (pray) to Him. What I found, it is essential to constantly seek God. But before, ask and pray for the Spirit. Every day and during the day I aim towards different aspects of the Spirit. Sometimes I'm looking for the Light, sometimes I go toward purity, sometimes I need strength and a sharp blade to cut anything unclean. But usually I perceive the Spirit as a calm deep prayer.

Of course, that's not all, but I've already written too much. Who's going to read all this?

I didn't say that through the Holy Spirit, God teaches us. I receive His Word every day. Sometimes it is just two words, sometimes He gives deep understanding.

Spirit is opposite to automatisation of our reactive life. With Spirit I'm present here and now. Like when you pray God, you're also awakened.

The reason for the Gifts of the Spirit is they empower us for work in the here and now . If you follow Jesus and read the Bible the fruits of the Holy Spirit will be in evidence in your life and this is for others to see the light of God in your life .
If you are not producing Fruit of the Holy Spirit you are subject to being pruned from the vine .

It is absolutely. I was talking about motivation. Think like you want to impress others by showing them your "super power", you will lose them quickly. Fruits are results of your dying flesh and growing Spirit.

Dying to self , yes .

The empowerment come through the Holy Spirit and is not my power that is manifesting but it is the power of the Holy Spirit .

Can you share your experience? Please. I ask because I'm tired of listening to dogma fightings. I can learn also from people like you. What daily challenges do you have? What helps you to be focused on God during the day?

You have added much--apparently your own rationale for how life and this world operates--but what is missing in your explanation is ultimately more important. Which is: Time, and therefore the universe and this form of life, all has an end.

What daily challenges do you have?
I have some health issues and I am getting old and all that comes with that , vision and hearing problems .
What helps you to be focused on God during the day?
Knowing that is where my strength comes from , I lean on God . Try to think about everyday things in a Biblical way .
Can you share your experience?
A few years ago I was talking with a cousin and he told me about his son being in the army fighting in the middle east .
His son told what job he had , riding in a Humvee manning a 50cal machine gun . It was suggested by his dad that the son needed a lower profile job . So a few months later I was sound asleep one night and I was awakened by these words, " Pray for J***" . It took me a little bit to come to and understand what was going on and I remembered , oh yeah J*** is fighting over in the middle east , so I said a prayer for him and went back to sleep .
Not even thinking again about the prayer one day about two months later I hear about J*** , the Humvee he and his squad was riding in took a direct hit from and roadside IED . Some of his fellow soldiers were killed and J*** had suffered massive head trauma . J*** did survive and has raised a family , praise God !

I'm doing only my part as an ant in God's Universe. Everything what lies beyond my choice of life path is in God’s hands. I believe God is more important to me than knowing times and cracking prophecy codes.

What helps you to be focused on God during the day?
Sometimes it is the small things in this life .
I was eating lunch one day in a fast food burger place and I was the only one eating at that time . A young lady on crutches (broke leg I guess ) came in and went up to counter and got a job application and after she got the app she started back out the door and I got up from where I sat and went and helped her get through the door as it was very awkward with crutches , and then helped her at her car also . None of the fast food employees offered to help even though they were not busy at all . If you see someone who needs help and you are able go help them! When you are in a situation think about how Jesus would handle the situation .

@OreCove, because of your interest in the Holy Spirit, it made me happy to put together a list of links where, if you're interested, you can read dictations from the Holy Spirit, as well as from the Son and the Father about the Holy Spirit and the Holy Trinity, that were received and written down by Maria Valtorta. Below are a few:
[Note: you'll notice that the Holy Spirit is also referred to as "the Eternal Spirit" and "Spirit of God" at times, and Jesus's nickname for Maria was "little John".]

Non-gender, most of all the time? Yet we see Feminine qualities. It is the Holy Spirit of Yahavah. Whom I believe to be 100% Masculine, and 100% Feminine because look what God did. He made man, and woman in his image. If we stripped out bodies of flesh, all that would remain is a soul, which would be non-gendered, though through our lives we understand what we had done and been through as a human being. When we die, that soul is risen again, and given new life, condemned, or of life, or the better resurrection. What all this looks like Im not sure can only speculate.

And, there are those who agree with me. Have you read the following article: Response to the Vatican's 2025 Press Release on Maria Valtorta? If not, you should.

I have something similar happening to me. Not your situation, but when I have an easy decision to help someone. Once I was seating in my car, and noticed another car pulled over and dropped off one passenger with 4 suitcases. Driver just jumped in his car and drove away. I couldn't watch how that guy tried to push 4 suitcases on the street toward hotel. I just took half of his luggage and brought to the door. I didn't feel something special happened from my side.

It's like to be a human, or to be a wolf, or any other creature. Sex is a secondary characteristic. If I see wolf I don't care if it male or female. I see teeth, tale, and aggressive behavior, everything what belong to this animal. And we are humans, it's our main role. It's obvious for believers, but vague for atheist. I explain to myself that The Holy Spirit is our Reason - the only possible Reason we can have and He opens truth of Reality. And Reality (beyond space and time) is God. So we can understand God's design and purpose of existence straight.

Okay. If you think so. I'm just going off of the definitions which are given for the subject at hand. You can believe however you want to about it. Thank you for sharing.
