In all of Jehovah's judicial pronouncements, He has survivors. The upcoming battle referred to as Armageddon in the Bible, has survivors as well. Jesus compared this massive destruction to the days of Noah, and pointed to the reason why people were washed away in the flood. He simply stated they took no note.

A statement like that is subject to interpretation, yet it can be so simple as well. Is there any doubt that meditating on that along with the last verse of Genesis 6 can give us insight to it's meaning? We see that Noah did all that God commanded him, in fact exactingly so. Obviously then he took note by listening to, and obeying Jehovah. Those who lost their lives in the flood were no different than people we have today, most simply are living what is considered normal lives, eating, drinking, and marrying, but like the days of Noah, they simply do not put into practice the law of the Christ. satan is very good at convincing people that they are living good lives, therefore pleasing God, but Jesus was clear that like the days of Noah, most are on the broad path to destruction. Mat 7:13.

It is imperative that we come to know God now, and obey the gospel, as 2 Thes 1:6-9 shows the outcome for those who are not doing that when Jesus returns.
