I came across this on a podcast it was interesting and wondered if anyone new anything about this.It was mentioned that the Zodiac is mentioned in the Bible. Job 38:31-39. That all the signs were a message from God and the pagans turned it into a religion of some sort. The messages were:Virgo-seed of woman-virgin-bruised head of the serpent.Scorpio-Conflict with the serpent that tried to destroy the seed.Aquarius-realease of water-..out of belly will flow living water.Leo-Lion of JudahAmos 5, Psm.19, and Romans 10 were mentioned as the message in the stars. I did not catch the whole program, wondered if any one knows more. This was interesting since God did make the heavens and these pictures are in the stars. He said Virgo was the first sign in the stars and it appeared 125 years before Christ. The star was in the head of Virgo, it was the star that led the wisemen. It did not fade until 50 years after Christ.

I didn't hear/see this, but I would be leary of anyone connecting zodiac signs/symbols with Biblical truth. You know a good site for you to contact on this subject would be perrystone.org. He does a lot of in-depth studies on Old Testament and New Testament correlations with occurrences of today.

I like Perry Stone, but this was interesting because God did make the stars! He made the pictures in the Stars! They are for us a sign! Most of the time God places things in our lives and Satan comes and distorts it. I like the Word pictures about God and the Zodiac. In Job these star consellations are mentioned.

Yes, I'm in total agreement with you about creation of the stars, using the names of the constellations (not the same as zodiacs as these are more fortune-telling symbols), and the star being used as a sign to point the wise men to the Christ child. I guess it's all a matter of context. I just don't believe in any kind of sorcery, etc. The Bible clearly speaks against using that. There are many references which I can send if you'd like:)You may already have them all and I may have misunderstood you. I'm sorry if so.

God wrote the story of the Bible in the stars He created them for signs and seasons thus the star of Bethlehem. We are to watch the stars for signs. This does not mean we are to check our horoscopes everyday We are to live by the Word not the stars, that some man has decided means we are going to get a raise, or meet our soul mateNow if you want to read about this here is a book written by a great Bible scolars http://philologos.org/__eb-tws/intro.htm

There is an interesting book you would probably enjoy.....The Witness of the Stars....E.W. Bullinger. He goes into detail about the message Father wrote in the stars. Also read Psalms 19...The heavens declare the glory of God; And the firmament sheweth His handiwork.........Whirlwind

I concur with Whirlwind. Bullinger is excellent. God put His message in the stars. This is common knowledge amongst many of us Christians that are not afraid to wander from main-line dogma.Another good book is "The glory of the stars" by E. Raymond Capt. Capt at least believes in the lost tribes, whereas Bullinger does not. However, I love Bullinger's work better. He was brilliant.

I will check on these books. I do not believe in the zodiac that we see today as for as fortune telling. But I do believe God made these pictures in the stars to tell about things in the Bible. I see in scriptures this is backed up. I have never read what each picture represents. The podcast only gave a few that I mentioned.
