Wow! Thank you for posting this Debp! I can totally relate to her!!!!!! Very similar to my life. That could almost be me. Amazing, I could just hug her. My new sister!

I used to frequent a small neighborhood store, and would visit with the Clerk who was Muslim.

Asking questions about his “foreign birthplace” and general common lifestyle, habits, family life, governance, education, religion…etc.

My takeaway… was:

Men work, marry, live peacefully, have kids, provide, woman oversee kids and tidy home.

Born…Muslim!
Least to do, attend Mosque on “important” celebratory days.

Neither, daily involved in “religious” rituals OR bother, care, learn about “theirs or other” religions.

(Not a glaring contrast, to millions calling themselves, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, Jews, etc.)

It's good to hear more Muslims are believing on Christ as their Savior. It's been forced on them not to depart Islam...by death or being disowned.

I think the Middle Eastern Muslims are more dogmatic. I live near Little Bangladesh and when I used to go there to get food, I never saw any women with head or face coverings. Only once do I recall an old woman with her face totally covered in a restaurant and I wondered how she ate.

I know some Bangladesh Muslims and they dress Western style. Also, they like Christian friends. When they went out with a couple of Middle Eastern friends, they had to eat Halal...whereas with us, they didn't worry about what they ate. Except no pork.

Do pray for them to know Jesus.
