If any believer has ever had trouble excepting themselves, they should read Ephesians chapter 1. Ephesians chapter 1 is not the concept I have of myself but it is the concept my Father has of me. Not My Thoughts not my words but all my Fathers. The most precious thing Jesus Christ has ever given us is my Father. Jesus came into this world so I might have the right Father, even his father.
Have you ever heard people talking about they never had a father, grew up with no father or never met their father, never knew him. I never knew my father I had wonderful grandparents on both sides I had two step dad's treated me just like their own always good to me I still cherish them today. But I didn't know my father, I was around him a couple times when I was young but I didn't know him. Tall and handsome American Indian man, every kid wants to know their father as well as their mother.
1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. - John 15:1.
But now as you go into the scriptures - Jesus said I am the True Vine. There is only one Father and many vines but Jesus said I am the True Vine. Where can we find fatherhood in Jesus being the - 'I am the true Vine.' Fatherhood is in 'the mind of Christ' where do you think Jesus received his mind - from the Father; 'I and my Father are one.'
What does our earthly family have to do with all the this. They are simply vines. They are not the true vine. There is only one Father to the fatherless and Jesus has presented him to the world to give them the right father - even his Father. Out is the old life and the old way of thinking and in is the new life and a brand new way to acknowledge my Father.
My Father my Father - whereby we cry Abba Father Abba Father. Wait until they see my father as my old friend Don Byrd used to say - what a true statement that is.
6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. - Galatians 4:6.
