I am 24 and was not raised as a Christian - Every mean was of myself, and every end was for myself. Excelling through college I obtained a career position when a man working with me, witnessed to me - putting his hope for my salvation above the ease of his success! (I ran a department which was supplementary to his responsibilities) His attitude towards me, convicted me of my selfishness. As I sat on my bed, about to read the bible, I prayed for God to speak to me - and opened to the rich young ruler. My world stopped... I was saved. Thereafter I quit my job to attend Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta, CA; now I am on my 2nd semester in York, UK. I joined this board to encourage and pour into others, as well as be poured into and encouraged by others. And to ask questions, searching the richness of God. Once, setting my ends in self, now attempting to set my ends in God... so that my means of reaching those Ends, are to serve God.Luke 11:9

Welcome aboard! Thanks for sharing your story. It really just goes to show how witnessing to someone in the right way at the right place and time can launch a whole new life. I look forward to having you with us, and do hope you'll stick around and share! :)

Thanks! Knowing what I know now and looking back...Many people were praying for me... if they had not - I would not be saved.Larry stepped out in faith to witness... if he had not - I would not be saved. The bible spoke to me... if I wasn't pushed to read it - I would not be saved. God is faithful.
