There is science and physical science of the bodies of creatures, including humans.
They are the study of life and death, growth and decay. Humans and creatures, different types of flesh, even though sometimes the scientific terms are similar and probably shouldn't be. Humans are different from God's creatures.
We are given life as youth and also inherit death thru the fall of Adam and Eve, and ancestral lines of works and teachings passed down to us from our ancestors.
The universe is also a science study area. From waves and particles, atoms and molecules, to cells of living beings, up to the growth of the image of God as a human being.
In physics we say there are well known and established laws. One is that far every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. That is called 'kinetics' and also inverse kinetics. And that is that a wave or particle follow mechanical laws of motion and energy.
The waves and particles are organized by God and his truths that are physical laws into complex forms. The basic building blocks of life.
He organized the dust of the earth and formed Adam, the first man. And also Eve, the first woman.
If out in frictionless space, a human in a space suit pushes an asteroid that is heavy. Both the asteroid and human will receive force from that push in equal and opposite directions and that will result in a change in the kinetic energy of both.
The study of the physical laws of God's kingdom go into simple physics, and beyond that life and death, the learning and timeline we travel thru in life.
God gave commandments to protect the life he gives us. If we obey those directives of the physical laws we are safe from the death it causes.
Sinning is death for a reason, it will eventually, somehow naturally kill us. Jesus paid the price for death and hell for us and has those keys together with his father God.
If we know to do good and do it not, that is sin to us.
In the more advanced physics in God's heavenly and earthly kingdoms are the commandments away from sin and death.
Those who kill by the sword, die by the sword, and those that lead to captivity, go to captivity.
If we commit murder or steal as a thief, we may have already doomed someone to die at some point as a result of it. That taken, a person or item, may have been that which was needed to live.
So if we have sinned against ourselves or others and it causes death, as an equal and opposite, we receive death.
We are like the temple of God and we are to keep it holy and clean. God's spirit resides with us. He visits the temple. So yes we can sin against ourselves by not obeying his commandments.
The sabbath was made for man, man was not made for the sabbath. I wonder if similar ideas work for the soul? If we demand cleanliness for ourselves, and offend others in the process, that might be a problem. Jesus met with the sinners and publicans, those needed the physician. And he cleansed lepers and all manner of ill. He was not afraid and was careful around the treacherous. He probably visited them that had faith and were teachable. He at times visited the wicked and treacherous and that was his death. Others of his followers also died to spread Christianity and carry his word written in scriptures to the ends of the earth.
Killing a beast of the field or bird of the air and eating it can postpone death, and bread is life to us, a daily bread we need.
The advanced science of laws are God's areas of infinite intelligence, including when, how, where and by what will kill us if we kill by the sword.
We do not understand those laws and commandments but God does. And he desires life and heavenly gifts for us.
