I ran into a similar circumstance - after spending 50 dollars on a Egyptian Sim game, I discovered that the player is required to worship the five major Egyptian gods in the game by giving them offering and building them Temples. It was disappointing that I wasted 50 dollars, but that game had to be destroyed and thrown out. I think it was more dangerous than a Ouiji board
