Where do I find the rules? (if "whistle britches" is questionable content , then maybe I'd better look them over)

Where do I find a listing of the acronyms commonly used here?

As for Acronyms I'm not aware of ones used specifically for this website. An internet search should reveal what they mean, or you could ask any specific questions here.

lforrest took care of the linkage, but you can also find the rules link on every page at the left-hand bottom of each page. It's located in the bottom left-hand corner of the white area where all of the content is at.

In regards to the acronyms, we don't have such a list. Honestly I don't see that many around here other than the usuals which a quick Google search can tell. There really aren't too many Christian acronyms in use, as generally they're explained. However, you're always welcome to ask in a thread.
