Of the authors in the New Testament; which ones did not know Jesus personally? I know Matthew, Peter, John, Mark and James did but what about Luke, Paul and Jude?Donnie

In my study of the Bible references, Judus,[Jude the brother if James] Jude 1: was one of the twelve Luke 6: 16. The Apostle paul had a personal experience with Jesus, on the road to Damascus, and wrote two third's of the New Testament. But there is no account of Luke knowing Jesus personaly except by way of the new birth. He may have been a Gentile.

Mark? Mark was not a disciple...Luke - no. Paul, yes, from the visions he and Luke describe. Jude was Christ's brother.
