These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so. - Acts 17:11.

What is a noble person. A noble person allows the word to dig deep in you. That is not a pretty site at times. But it is what keeps you, it will stop believers from living a sinning lifestyle. That don't mean you will never sin, it means you have that thing in mind to pull you back to who you are. You will not live in sin. You cannot live in sin and know the word. Not many noble (seemingly in the world), not many wise allow that process to take place in their life..Their life! Not his.. but a separation of the believer from the Christ in them. In mind only, but regardless it is a separation.

Example; crude at best but true. When a husband and wife have a disagreement.. they are not to live in that disagreement but the word that has dug deep in you and you know better. You grip yourself to settle the matter. What does scripture say "don't let the sun go down on those things" get them settled by knowing who you are, who it is in you that is the word, and live accordingly.

Nobility is a kingly people, the word has dug deep in you, and you have a constant consciousness that Christ lives in you. With the constant consciousness he directs what he does in body. It is the way God created man to live by spirit control of the mind, and mind controls the body. What did Paul say "he beat his body into subjection." Where does your health come from - spirit. Mind knowledge of who you are, and controlling body by that knowledge. Your body is not to rule you - but you rule body. Paul called it reigning in life. A noble kingly people of the word.

What I liked about them Mike is the fact that they didn't just accept Pauls words as gospel, but they listened, and then examined for themselves what the scripture really said. Many people take the word of their pastor as gospel, and don't even examine to see if what he says is true.

Yes that is good point. We need to read for ourselves.
