Jhn 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

See that word NOW. ?
That is the NOW of the Past, the NOW of the present and the NOW of the future. Jesus said Judgment day is NOW.
His WORD does not change. It is the same yesterday Today and forever. It is always NOW

Hbr 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

AFTER DEATH is judgment. People ( men, mankind ) are dying continually. Judgment is continually NOW, just as death is continually NOW.

The day of judgment is the day of the death of mankind. That day is an eternal day which happens continually as people die constantly in this world. Judgment is always NOW.

1 Cor 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

How do you judge yourself? Guilty or not guilty of sin ? If you are guilty then REPENT and GO and SIN NO MORE.

John 8 :11 ........ Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

Jesus does not condemn sinners. The actions and words of the sinners themselves condemn them. The words of the sinners themselves condemn them. Sinners condemn themselves. (Matthew 12:37)

Truth does not condemn anyone.
Lies and liars condemn themselves with their lies which keep them away from the Truth.

Many people think it is wrong to judge because the bible tells us...
Mat 7:1 Judge not, that ye be not judged.

However, on the other hand the bible also tells us....
Jhn 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

When we consider both these scriptures in context of the whole subject of judgment, we can see it is wrong to judge unrighteously but perfectly right to judge righteously. To not judge at all is impossible since it is in the nature of human beings and also in the nature of God Himself to make judgments between good and bad.
Therefore in order to judge anything righteously we need to understand what it means to judge righteous judgment.
What is righteous judgment?
Righteous judgment is to put yourself in the place of the one being judged and judge yourself or let the accused judge you in the same way they judge themselves.
The way they then judge you is also the way they judge themselves since you are standing in their place and allowing them to make the judgments.

Mat 7:2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

God ( The WORD ) will judge the world yet at the same time God will not judge the world at all, because He judges righteous judgment not unrighteous judgment.
Psa 9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

Jesus came to this earth for judgment.
Jhn 9:39 And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

For who's judgment? Not for the judgment of the world according to
Jhn 12:47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Therefore the judgment Jesus came for is His very own judgment.

Jhn 8:15-16 Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man. And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.

Jesus does not judge after the flesh but after the Spirit and IF ( *not when* ) He judges, His judgment is just because it is not just his own judgment but a judgment made together with the Father who sent Him.

So we have the scripture telling us that Jesus does not judge alone or according to the flesh IF He does judge.
Scripture also says the Father does not judge but has committed all judgment to the Son.
Jhn 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

Jhn 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

Jhn 12:48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

So we have this puzzle....
1. Jesus does not judge but is in charge of judgment
2. The Father does not judge but is also in charge of judgment.
3. The WORD does judge.

According to Jhn 12:48 we have the WORD judging people who reject Jesus .

Is Jesus the WORD ?
Is God the WORD ?
Jhn 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

How does the WORD judge the WORD and at the same time NOT judge the WORD?

God ( the WORD ) WITH God ( the WORD ) in the beginning judges the world (which He created,) with righteous judgment by putting Himself in the place of the accused and allowing the world to judge Him as He is the GENUINE ORIGINAL ( The original WORD ) of what He created in His OWN IMAGE ( the WORD which He placed in the physical flesh of mankind so it could be SEEN and OBSERVED ).

When you look at the man condemned on the cross, what do you see? A righteous man or a sinner?
Many Pharisees saw the righteous man when it was too late to save Jesus from death because He had already given up the Ghost.

Mat 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

The WORD through the world ( flesh ) judged and condemned the WORD who was made flesh as guilty of sin. The same Word through the Spirit judged and forgave the accusers because they were clueless and remain clueless.
The WORD makes those exact same judgments daily.
People condemn or justify ( forgive) their own reflection. When they condemn or forgive that which they hate in others, they also condemn or forgive that which they hate in themselves. The WORD condemns and forgives itself at the same time.
God admits He is guilty of creating evil. Isa 45:7
However God created evil for a GOOD reason. He created ALL things for good and ALL things He created work together for good. Therefore He is innocent of creating evil.

People condemn themselves by their own WORD.
Deu 30:14 But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.
Mat 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

The WORD which condemns sinners in the end is the WORD which comes out of their very own mouth according to Matt 12:37.

Therefore Judge yourself NOW so you will NOT BE JUDGED. Don't wait for others to judge you. Jesus does not judge you and neither does the Father. Your own words and attitudes judge you. The sooner you realize that FACT, the better off you will be and you will no longer care what others say about you because in the end it makes no difference what anyone else thinks but only what God thinks.

1Cr 11:31-32 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

As far as my judgment of myself goes I deserve to be condemned with the world and by the world and deserve to be placed in the eternally consuming fire.
I desire to live in the FIRE and be purified, chastened in LOVE for the rest of eternity. I REST in eternity for eternity.

My God is a consuming fire.
Hbr 12:29 For our God [is] a consuming fire.

I AM on FIRE, melted by the PASSIONATE LOVE OF GOD.

Sgs 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love [is] strong as death; jealousy [is] cruel as the grave: the coals thereof [are] coals of fire, [which hath a] most vehement flame.

This little "candle" has melted into the flames and is no longer a candle but just fuel for the fire.

FIRE is always VERY HOT, never lukewarm.

How do you judge yourself? How long will you wait before you judge yourself?

1 Cor 11:31 For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.

As I was reading this the Spirit was leading me to a piece of scripture that is used alot, but not many understand. Very good post, thank you.

John 3:
[sup]16[/sup]"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. [sup]17[/sup]For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. [sup]18[/sup]Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son. [sup]19[/sup]This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but men loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil. [sup]20[/sup]Everyone who does evil hates the light, and will not come into the light for fear that his deeds will be exposed. [sup]21[/sup]But whoever lives by the truth comes into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what he has done has been done through God." Judgement already pronounced. Guilty of sin against God and condemned. The only way out is faith in God's one and only Son, Jesus Christ.

God Bless,
Mercy

Three or four types of judgment remain to be discussed.

1. Judgment happens on at least two different levels; separate judgments.
One is the house of God/those called by His name and the other is outside the house of God/unbelievers. The judgments are different and the treatment is different.

Those within the house of God are allowed to judge each other, but only with careful tenderness and according to strict rules (ie: can't call a brother a fool).

Those outside the house of God are subject to extreme judgment (ie: being told that they are on a path to perdition, can be told that they are fools, etc.).

"For the time is come for judgment to begin at the house of God: and if it begin first at us, what shall be the end of them that obey not the gospel of God? And if the righteous is scarcely saved, where shall the ungodly and sinner appear?"
1Pe 4:17-18

Christians are warned to NOT become friendly with those subject to the wrath of God (the world). The idea that we are to love the sinner is WRONG. We are to preach judgment and destruction that they may be saved. Being a good witness and being friendly with the world IS FORBIDDEN.

"Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God." James 4:4

2. Final judgment - that which happens after a human life has been closed. Heb 9:27
3. The great white throne of 'national' judgment. Rev 20:11
4. Present day judgment - the O.T. is full of procedures for divine judment and testimonies of it. (ie: see Amos)
- God will speak through His prophets prior to performing a judgment.
- God will explain WHY He is sending judgment
- God will continually offer an opportunity to repent prior to execution of judgment
- Man will deny that God will do such a thing (passive indifference)
- Divine judgment performed is usually devasting, its effects permanent

For example
in 1954 A.A. Allen published a vision of divine judgment which would come upon America.
The WHY of it is American national foolishness (passive indifference to God) and (military & economic) arrogance.
Execution of judgment would take the form of its cause; foolishness and arrogance.

" Don't let anybody make you think that God chose America as His divine messianic force to be a sort of policeman of the whole world. God has a way of standing before the nations with justice and it seems that I can hear God saying to America, 'You are too arrogant. If you don't change your ways I will rise up and break the back bone of your power.'"
Rev Martin Luther King Jr. (circa 1967)

"A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death." M.L. King

Judgment has come upon American shores.
We ARE spiritually dead. Militant atheism and Marxism are the evidence.
Wisdom has fled from our leaders. Every solution fails. Foolishness is the norm.
Arrogant military pride is greater than at any other time in our history.

The backbone of our pride and power is the almighty dollar and the American military.
Both ARE BEING broken before our eyes.
