Not the first time a Nun has been pregnant ..... when tearing down old convents and excavating there have always been reports of lots of baby skeletons buried "in the yard'

Vatican City area apparently has the highest prostitutes per capita because of all the "celibate" men in those areas.

This latest pregnant Nun has been given the boot by the church .... she should simply marry the father and have a normal family life.

Your Vatican City comment is somewhat grauitious and irrelevant.

According to the Daily Mail she became pregant last March/April when she went back to El Salvador to get her passport renewed and met up with an old boyfriend. She had not made her vows as a nun then (or at least her final vows).

Perhaps the father fears that if she cannot be faithful in her promise to keep herself exclusively for God, she may not be able to keep herself faithful to be exclusively his.

I read somewhere that the Vatican was considering doing away with celibacy vows and allowing priests and nuns to have normal familial relationships. Is there anything to this or is it just another wild rumor?
