WE are not Isreal and WE do not have the same commandment Joshua had in the OT.
You are quite mistaken there. I suppose you think the 42,000 of the House of Judah that returned to Israel after the captivity composed the entire House of Judah and Israel? You're missing no less than 10 tribes if you think that; that measly 42,000 is sure a change from the 600,000 fighting men of the Exodus (add women and children in there and you have a figure fast approaching 2 million total). Genesis 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; Those "missing" tribes were moved north in the first captivity of the House of Israel and migrated into Europe to become ancestors of many western peoples of today - particularly GB and the US. Hence the reason why Saxon derives from the old language "Sons of Isaac" and Britain means "Land of the Covenent" as the Welsh Triads themselves state. It seems that we've forgotten who we are and why we are here.Don't believe me? Check out Old Testament prophecy and see where there are two houses - one of Israel and one of Judah.
And there is the problem. We think we are the right hand of God. That "We" Are Good and "They" Are evil. That we can be the good right hand of God and still abort 1.2 million babies a year, Divorce, cheat on our spouses, have babies out of wedlock, snort up, shoot up. toke up, and drink up. And WE want to invade other nations and make them like us?
There's a fairly sizable portion of our population who doesn't do what you stated above, and does ultimately look to God and try to live their lives in the right way. God blessed us with the common sense to know good from evil; this is witnessed by the destruction of Amalek who attacked the rear elements of Israel and was all but wiped off the face of the earth. There was no appearance of God to tell the Israelites what to do, only later did He say that he'd wipe them off the face of the map AND that Israel should remember this example FOREVER. It sounds like you have forgotten it.I don't think it's possible to rationalize with you, though. As I've said before, immediately when someone says something you launch into this "Gospel of Bombs and Bullets" tirade which is exactly what the left does.
Yes, there is good and evil, ALL of us are evil and can only be saved by grace.
Flesh is corrupt, but there is a difference between being corrupt and being downright evil. Seems my point has been proven from this statement. We're indeed nothing compared to Our Father, but I certainly don't see that as an excuse to stick our heads in the sand when we're surrounded by evil. That's simply the worst logic I have ever heard.
