Behold,
I believe there is a misunderstanding here. Jesus did not come teaching the Law only because the Jews were under it. He came to fulfill the Law and to show what God truly requires. He Himself said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill” (Matthew 5:17). He also warned, “Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven”(Matthew 5:19). These are the words of Jesus, not Moses.
It is true that grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). But this does not mean grace replaces God’s commandments. Jesus said clearly, “If you love Me, keep My commandments” (John 14:15). He did not say, “Since you are under grace, you no longer need to keep them.” Grace does not remove obedience to the Commendments—it teaches us how to walk in holiness.
When asked what one must do to inherit eternal life, Jesus answered, “If you want to enter into life, keep the commandments” (Matthew 19:17). He then listed the same commandments given at Sinai. In fact, when the rich young ruler claimed he had kept them, Jesus told him to go further—showing that obedience must be from the heart, not only in outward actions. As for the Cross, yes, salvation is only through the sacrifice of Christ, for He gave His life for the forgiveness of sins (Matthew 26:28). But He also said, “Why do you call Me ‘Lord, Lord,’ and not do the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46). Jesus did not separate His cross from His teachings—He calls us to both believe and obey.
So the true gospel is not “Paul’s gospel,” but the gospel of Jesus Christ Himself. He said, “This gospel of the kingdom will be preached in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14). The gospel of the kingdom includes faith in His sacrifice and obedience to His commands.
Therefore, we must be careful not to set grace against God’s law. Grace is God’s mercy that forgives our past sins and gives us strength to walk in His ways. And Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6)—the same Jesus who told us plainly to keep His commandments if we love Him.
what is the greatest of all the commandments .
YE SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD above all
with all your heart
Tell me HOW can a man LOVE THE LORD HIS GOD with ALL HIS HEART
if he hears not CHRIST and how can a man love CHRIST
if he obeys NOT his commandments . Pretty simple .
JESUS DIDNT COME to OMIT THE LAW AT ALL . But TO FULLFILL the law .
JESUS did not come so man could continue to do as man had always done , EVEN the jews
And remain in disobediance . THE FATHER desired SOMETHING .
And for finding fault WITH THEM HE SAID SOMETHING .
I will WRITE my laws , not on stones , BUT UPON THEIR HEARTS
GOD HAS ALWAYS DESIRED OBEDIANCE above ALL things . THAT WILL NEVER change .
HE has always DESIRED the GLORY . rejection , rebellion , disobediance , unbeleif , IT DOES NOT GLORFIY HIM .
But the new and living way IN CHRIST JESUS sure does . THE F ATHER is SPIRIT
and HE DESIRES us to worship HIM in SPIRIT and in TRUTH . not in sin and rebellion , IN SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH .
Without FAITH it is IMPOSSIBLE to please HIM . and if one lips that name and yet does not beleive His words
THEN I TELL US ALL THEIR FAITH IS DEAD already . FOr just as the jews WHO DID claim to BELEIVE ON HIM
and YET DID NOT BELEIVE HIM but rather feared man and gave an evil report of the land ,
were not allowed to ENTER INTO
SO TOO will any and all WHO EVEN LIP the name of JESUS but DID NOT BELIEVE HIS WORDS .
EVE and adam KNEW , they KNEW GOD EXISTED
THEY KNEW IT .
And for a time they BELEIVED HIM
but in the time of temptation they chose to BELEIVE THE VOICE of another . AND LOOK what that did .
TIME FOR THIS GENERATION to ACTUALLY BELIEVE HIM . I mean BELIEVE HIM . HIS WORDS ARE TRUTH and they are meat .
