Open dialog

I've realized that many people post on message boards in order to work out their own issues and promote their own agendas. I am wondering if Protestants/atheists/conservative Christians would be interested in an open dialog or do you all enjoy disagreement?

I just joined this forum last night because I was hoping for discussion with other Christians to further each others walk with the Lord. I don't care if you're a Catholic (my wife is) or a Protestant (I am) I just expect you to know what it is that you believe.

I'm game. I've tried to do this for some time now, but have only met with frustration. My experience has been that Christians just want to hold on to their doctrines.
