Matthew 28:1 “Now late on the Sabbath” – “in the end of the Sabbath” – “Toe laat die Sabbat”
‘Opse’ Adverbial Verb
Matthew 27:4 σὺ ὄψῃ “You are late! Close the door as you leave!” (‘videris’) “Te laat— sien kom klaar!”
Acts 18:15 ὄψεσθε αὐτοί — “It’s late, time for me to go now” - “Dis laat, ek moet nou gaan”

Thayer3 Lang. of the N. T., Hast. D. B. Cf. also C. Wessely, Die lat. Elem. In der Grac. der agyp. Papyrusurk., Wien. Stud., 24 (1902). calls attention also to σὺ ὄψῃ (Mt. 27:4) as being like videris. So also ὄψεσθε αὐτοί (Ac. 18:15).
