Once again I find myself having to argue the common sense obvious, in the face of those who would rather lose their intelligence than their sins.

Arguing “common sense” regarding “a spiritual matter”, IS A FAIL.

Salvation is not about “satisfying a mans carnal minded common sense”.
Salvation IS a spiritual matter.

I already posted this once:

[23] One sabbath he was going through the grainfields; and as they made their way his disciples began to pluck heads of grain.
[24] And the Pharisees said to him, "Look, why are they doing what is not lawful on the sabbath?"
[25] And he said to them, "Have you never read what David did, when he was in need and was hungry, he and those who were with him:
[26] how he entered the house of God, when Abi'athar was high priest, and ate the bread of the Presence, which it is not lawful for any but the priests to eat, and also gave it to those who were with him?"
[27] And he said to them, "The sabbath was made for man, not man for the sabbath;
[28] so the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath." Mark 2:23-28
You can post it ten more times, it still doesn't show Jesus working on the Sabbath, nor claiming that it's ok to sin.

It demonstrates that Jesus rules over the sabbath - if he says you can do something, you can do it. It's a good reason to get to know him.

Not sure I'm ok with that.

I really hate change.

Since when do you support anything positive about the Sabbath, anyway?

I have always said here that there is no mandate for teh church to observe the Sabbath, but as romans 14 pointed out individual believers are free to observe or not observe the sabbath!

I also am willing to bet that most believers who "observe" the sabbath, do not do so biblically but like the priests of Jesus day, have made plenty of carve outs
