Great statement RVMB.
Until recently I used to think that Paul teachings were simply in addition to what the others taught but I now realize that he is the goto Apostle as chosen by Jesus to teach me how to be saved, I find that Pastors Justin Johnson from Grace Ambassadors, Pastor David Reid from Columbus Bible Church, Pastor David O'Steen from Hope Bible Church, Dr, Paul Paul Felter from Rightly Dividing and MANY MANY MANY more are also teaching the same, are there others that you listen to and learn from ?

Both the 12 “Chosen” (even Judas, knowing he would betray… )were chosen to Hear, Learn, Teach…
The Jews About the arrival of Their awaited for Messiah…and His offering of Salvation…Before a required Mortal Death.

AND Saul (Jewish Mother), Pharisee, skilled in OT Mosaic Law, / Paul (Roman gentile father), Roman citizen by birthright,
Was chosen, to Hear, Learn, Teach…
The Gentiles, Jews, kings About the Jewish God, Awaited and Arrival of the Jewish Messiah, His offering of Salvation…Before a required Mortal Death.

Both Jews AND Gentiles… in those days, were first hand Learning…news to them “all” and experiencing the most spectacular
Days in the History of ManKIND…

A very hard thing to Do…new information, by only word of mouth and some letters, regarding two very distinct races (Jew and Gentile…) they having had well known, long term disputes…and with the scant preaching from strangers….the understanding very puzzling.

The Laws, the subject to the (by birth) Laws, the Rituals, Feasts, Traditions, the Fulfillments of the Laws, the common Laws, the objects and kings equated with being “gods”…the PRECEPTS…

Every person…becoming introduced to information completely foreign to their everyday normal life.

And the beat goes on…for centuries, newborns to adults go through the same phenomena … of being introduced to knowledge about “Something”…they can Not, see, hear, taste, smell, touch, feel.

Men can Teach, Preach, Copy, Distribute the knowledge…
But they CANNOT teach the “Understanding”!

They CAN, give another their own perspective of Their Understanding…

It boils down to…
How an individual “Arrived” at their “Understanding”…
* Mindful Logic, makes sense.
* Famous so n so said.
* Mommy/Daddy said. :thumbsdown:
* School said. :thumbsdown:
* Government said. :thumbsdown:
* Asked God, He said.

OSAS…
Is the premise… Lord Jesus already PAID for that Gift For all of mankind.

A GIFT Offering…is exactly that… an Offering.
It is every individuals GIFT, already bought, paid for…For THEM, it is “THEIRS”.

Like ANY Gift… an individual…
DOES NOT POSESS the GIFT, until the individual REACHES OUT and TAKES the GIFT.

The GIFT of Salvation, so paid for, so Offered, so Given, so Taken…
is “Accounted Marked Received”…

AND…the Gift… is ONLY, given, AFTER, their Mortal Bodily Life…”IS Accounted DEAD”!

The “Accounting” is IN Gods, books / records.

The “Accounted” Bodily Dead…having Received their Gift of Salvation…ONCE…
Do not come back to “bodily Life”…
So they can reject or somehow lose their Gift!

They WHO “lose” their Gift of Salvation…lose their Offered Gift… Because they Never reached out and Claimed possession of the Gift that was bought and paid for….
For Them.

Glory to God,

God chose you and has given you to Jesus for protection and the Holy Spirit as a seal of promise.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 - Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own? 20 For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

If churches would start having people give testimonies on Wednesday nights again. More will realise they are not saved. Its in churches everywhere. Families with Christians parents raising there children and convincing their children are saved happens alot.

Some people are taught…reverberate …
Claiming to BE a Christian…
Means “they are “Saved”…. Error

There ARE Jews, who follow and have committed to Christ… they do NOT call themselves “Christians”.

Christ…ian… means follower of Christ.
It is an “indicator”… Not a Salvation meter.

Any “follower”, can STOP following…
Prime Example… Judas Iscariot

I would say… the very purpose Judas, WAS chosen… was to reveal… Followers CAN walk away.

It is the ones who stay…and continue Hearing, Learning….who are being “prepared”, for “commitment”…
And ONCE making such a “commitment”
That commitment…
Comes With The Blessing of Gods Power to Once and Forever KEEP that individual…
“whole heartily committed Forever”

Never Again can they … not believe, reject, go against, deny, ie / SIN against God.

Glory to God,

I don't understand it how people say "I'm saved", as if it's already happened.
Using passed tense grammar to describe something in the future.

Salvation only occurs after death. Only then can one say "I'm saved".

What people really mean is "I'm going to be saved". That is the correct grammar for future tense

There is a simultaneous 'now' and 'not yet' to many, many Biblical things. It is constant them through the entirety of the Bible. For example, the Kingdom of God has this "now-and-not-yet-ness" in that it is here now, as Jesus said over 2,000 years ago, but it will not be here in its fullness until Jesus returns and executes the final Judgment and subsequently ushers the Kingdom in in its fullness... the new heaven and new earth. Eternal life has the same "now-and-not-yet-ness" in that we have it now as an absolute certainty, and it will be an absolute reality when we are resurrected to eternal life when Jesus returns. Salvation itself has the same "now-and-not-yet-ness" in the respect that Christians have been and are saved (so past and present tense)... we have been born again and raised and seated with Christ in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2)... and are being saved (future tense) in that we will stand on Jesus's right in the final Judgment and will thus enter into the new heaven and new earth when that occurs.

Salvation occurs both at the time a Christian is born again of the Spirit... and then again when Christ returns, although not in the sense of being saved a second time. Think of it this way: salvation is fully conferred on us at the time we are born again, and it will be a full reality when Jesus returns... in the age to come, eternity. Our being born again by the grace of God through faith (Ephesians 2:8) is the guarantee of our ultimate salvation when Christ returns, exactly as Paul says in Ephesians 1, that we were (past tense) sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, Who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of his glory. As Jesus says, we have been given to Him by the Father, and He will raise us up on the last day. And Peter says, God "has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you, 5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

Grace and peace to you, AOG.
