How bout a reminder from the glorious LORD CHRIST JESUS .Perhaps it needs comfort from the world too.
". . . and then he turned to me and said, 'Wait a minute . . . Where was it that you saw TWO sets of footprints?'"Footprints in the sand.
Not even close.
It isn't him carrying you. It's him living inside you.
It's the Christ that is conceived IN YOU. He is the word of God. He is the seed of God. He is the son of God.
Spirit gives birth to spirit... IN YOU. You are the soil that the seed grows in.
And what is conceived IN YOU though it begins as the tiniest of seeds, it grows and becomes a mighty tree that the birds of the air nest in.
I think you need to realize that I am a mirror here.Learn the key to understanding these things and stop misleading people with your nonsense.

The Ego-centric gospel sees the man in the cited parable as a person reading the bible, declaring themselves "born-again",
If your not saved, You can not experience Gods love. You are under Gods wrath.
That seems more like human identity. Spiritual identity has to be in comparison to the life that is in Christ. There are 3 stages of spiritual identity. We are first born as a child in the presence of God. It is an unaware state of God conciousness. Secondly we then slowly we become accustomed to the world and find our place within the ego. Most people stay trapped within the ego and try to re live their childhood years. This is what we call a mid life crisis. However going backwards will never work. Very few make it through to the last stage which is an "aware" state of God conciousness. It is the first and last stage.
Are you better at understanding the parables than the disciples were ? yes or noI have already posted the key to understanding the parables. You can always look for that thread.
The Ego-centric gospel sees the man in the cited parable as a person reading the bible, declaring themselves "born-again", and in so doing becoming immunized to the truth at any real depth..and consequently will resist any motion towards going to God for His grace. The soil in that scheme is the outer religious man. The seed is the assumption and presumption that claims eternal things with a temporal mind. The birds are the crows that flock to the dead carrion that they feed on.
The Christ-centric gospel sees the man as God who plants a garden in the world. The Seed is Christ and the tree is the tree of life. The birds are the saints, now freed from the cage of the outer man who nest in habitations prepared for them (John 14).
We need to see the parables away from a self-serving agenda. No man can plant a seed of the kingdom. No one comes to the Father unless drawn there by Christ. And no one comes to Christ unless the Father draw him. They both share One Spirit.
The parable you cited is akin to another parable that depicts God as a man found in Luke 12.
"A certain man planted a vineyard, and set an hedge about it, and digged a place for the winefat, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, ..."

Ah, but before we are saved, it's God's love that draws us to Him.If your not saved, You can not experience Gods love. You are under Gods wrath.

I will get the popcorn ready while you give us an honest answer to the question.
hope this helps !!!
Amen. God calls sinner to repentance, and draws the righteous into the higher walk. Jesus didn't come to call the righteous to repentance....those that are well don't need a doctor.Ah, but before we are saved, it's God's love that draws us to Him.
