Life Lessons from Sukkot
Joy and Simplicity
Sukkot is celebrated as a time of joy, emphasizing the importance of simplicity. By leaving our comfortable homes to dwell in temporary huts, we learn to appreciate what we have. This holiday encourages us to take a break from material pursuits and focus on the joy of being with loved ones.
Reflection and Spiritual Growth
The sukkah serves as a reminder of our spiritual journey. It symbolizes faith and trust in God, especially during challenging times. The act of dwelling in a sukkah allows us to reflect on our lives and recognize that true happiness comes from spiritual fulfillment rather than material possessions.
Community and Connection
Sukkot fosters a sense of community. We invite our guests, known as ushpizin, into our sukkah, reminding us of our roots and the greatness from which we come. This practice encourages us to connect with our heritage and with each other, reinforcing the bonds of family and friendship.

2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Romans 12
Living Sacrifices
(1 Corinthians 3:16-18; 1 Corinthians 6:18-20)
1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. 2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
3For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.
Please, LORD, Give Us The strength Needed To Hear And Do Each Task Pleasing In Your Sight, And We Thank You in Yeshua's Holy and Righteous Name, Jesus Christ, Amen.
