That does not sound like a testimony unto salvation

Right now, only God knows - later we will know for certain
There was no repentance for writing the songs he wrote. "No more tears" is about committing suicide. After all, he was called the prince of darkness. Look at the lyrics from "Close my eyes forever".

Those playing God and judging *zzy should realize, they're not fit for that job.

Meanwhile, their demonstrating what they have in their heart in the process. It isn't grace or class.

It's pathetic.

What are you saying here???

i do not see anyone judging Ozzy but we do SEE people acknowledging that God is the Judge of Ozzy - and all of us!!!
We also SEE that every Saved Blood Washed saint has a testimony and a witness

The thief on the cross next to Jesus had a death bed confession, conversion and witness.
This was made public as it is in the Gospel for all to SEE.

Currently we are not privy to deathbed confessions and conversions as this is often private.

He may be in Heaven or he may not...................time will tell.

You are thinking carnally.

2 Corinthians 10:4-6 - For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

I quite agree. What we know of Ozzy doesn't advocate for him having known Christ, but like someone said, we don't know what he may or may not have prayed to the Lord before his passing. I hope he did cry out to God!

Much love!

Ozzy's mortal judges should concern themselves whether God knows their name. Rather than arrogantly rest in self assurance God didn't know Ozzy's.

Ozzy's Heavy Metal image was a character for the stage. An act. He was not a Satanist!

Ozzy was a Christian.

And here's another thing. As long as Christ Jesus,God,knows John's name, that is all that matters.

I’m a Christian. I was christened as a Christian. I used to go to Sunday school. I never took much interest in it because…I didn’t. My idea of heaven is feeling good. A place where people are alright to each other. This world scares the sh*t out of me. We’re all living on the tinderbox. It’s like there’s some maniac somewhere trying to devise a new means of destruction. It always amazes me that mankind always goes to find the biggest, powerfullest means of destruction before they find anything good. It’s always the negative things they find first. Since I’ve had kids I’ve thought, ‘What are we leaving these people? Nothing.’ What a future we’ve got for mankind.

Thankfully the above picture was of Ozzy during his final concert appearance in his hometown not that long ago. He died doing what he loved most. Singing for his fans and then being surrounded by the love of his family.

The hate of his critics can go to Hell.

I was trying to find some evidence that Ozzy had trusted in Christ.
This is a fairly recent interview where He talks about what He believes.
And what i could not help but notice is that there is no Jesus in his statement.
He does have the false idea that being "Christened" is to become a Christian.......so, as he does not go more into it.. this does not allow for any clarity in his explanation.

Now, God's Grace is amazing, so, if OZZY reached out with faith in Christ, during His last breath....then God knew it and washed Him in the Blood of Jesus.

Here is the interview..

"I believe in God. I don't go to church, but I don't think you have to ... go to church to believe in God," he said.
Osbourne said, "I'm a Christian. I was christened as a Christian.
I used to go to Sunday school. I never took much interest in it because … I didn't."

Regarding the idea of Heaven, he said, "My idea of Heaven is feeling good. A place where people are alright to each other. ""
It isn't up to you to find evidence.

BTW,there's nothing in the news that says Michael J. Fix has died.

He and his wife recently celebrated their 37th anniversary.

@pandaflower

i enjoy all kinds of music except that which glorifies satan, debases women and male/female marriage and/or ridicules God/Jesus/Faith

Are we free as Sanctified Saints to find pleasure in that which opposes God, His moral standards; at the very least those i have mentioned?

i do not see anyone judging Ozzy - i do see we are acknowledging God's Great love for Ozzy that he may, may have repented and turned to Christ.

2 Peter 3:9 = The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.

He was a Christian. He said it himself. He was never a Satanist. He was a musician and an entertainer. The persona we all saw on stage was just that, a persona.

The "Satanic Panic" period left it's ugly mark on people like Ozzy. The conservatives of the day needed something to blame for all of the problems they had created, and they found a scapegoat in the form of heavy metal music.

You've set them to your ignore list then. There are plenty here who obviously think to play God and judge Ozzy.
