Pastor Lets Atheist Explain to Church How Best to Reach Others Like Him
Melissa Barnhart – The Christian Post
The Rev. Randy Frazee, senior minister at Oak Hills Church in San Antonio, Texas, knew he was making a controversial decision when he invited atheist Hemant Mehta to speak to the 8,000-member congregation and share his perspective on Christians and their attitudes toward atheists.

This seemed a little risque but it had turned out alright. You'd have to have a pretty good relationship to allow an atheist friend to speak to your flock like that... :)

The "minister" is a FOOL. He has completely undermined the gospel.

Indeed! he obviously does not consider his responsibility toward his flock very seriously...allowing someone who is not a Christian to speak to his congregation of 8000 is very unwise.

I'm confused. If the guy is still an atheist, then he has obviously rejected the Gospel. But he is speaking on how to present the Gospel to other atheists? If the technique didn't work on him how is it expected to work on others?

Sounds like the blind leading the blind and inviting another blind man in to teach how not to be blind.

Absolutely, apart from being a 'jackass' where is his true christian love. His love is nothing short of humanism. God is NOT in the picture here.

I do not think that any Church in our country holds that many members. The largest being approximately 5-6000 members.
