TRUTH Uncovered:

“I AM The Way, The Truth, and The Life: NO MAN
cometh unto The Father, but By Me.” (John_14:6)
"
We live in a day when it seems that nothing is true...Everything
is subject to relativism...

...
God’s truth. It stands alone. It doesn’t need to be proven, it simply “is.”
This declaration of absolute truth is the offense of the cross. Truth can’t
be known, so how dare we say that we know the truth, much less say
that our truth is the only way?...

...Pilate gives the standard answer of a relativist when he replies, “
What is truth?” That is still the question for today...

...The first Biblical ABSOLUTE truth for unbelievers is that
NO ONE is righteous...

...for believers...Number one, there is NOTHING good in our flesh.
In Romans_7:18 Paul says,

“For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth
no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how
to perform that which is good I find not."

We’d prefer this verse to say that “not much good dwells within me.”...

...So, what difference does any of this make? How should [sound] doctrine
affect our everyday walk as a believer? We should be living confidently in
the knowledge of all that we have in Christ...

God's mind is higher than ours and his ways are higher than ours. I have repeatedly tried and failed to use logic to understand God. It's not possible. Fortunately we don't need logic to know God. We have feeling.

1 Corinthians 3:18-19
Authorized (King James) Version

18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise. 19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.

When Jesus said that, do you suppose he included obedience to his teachings in that statement sir?

GRACE And Peace...
Good post! However, I think the first absolute is that there is a God, He introduces Himself to Moses. Moses asks, Who are you? The answer, "I AM". Lots of truths followed that introduction, here are a few.
I AM the LORD; beside Me there is no Savior. Isaiah 43:11
I AM the LORD, the Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King. Isaiah 43:15
But when Jesus came, He filled in the details more clearly in the Book of John.
I AM the Bread which came down ...
I AM the Light of the world ... ;
I AM from above ... ;
Before Abraham, I AM;
I AM the Door ... ;
I AM the Good Shepherd ... ;
I AM the Resurrection and the Life;
I AM the Vine; you are the branches;
I AM He ... ;
I AM the Alpha and Omega says the Lord God who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.
Rev. 1:8
Truth actually means reality. The absolute truth must mean what is eternal, with no beginning and no end.
Christ is the Creator ( Col. 1:16-17)
He holds ALL THINGS TOGETHER. In Him all things consist, have their being, down to every atom. That is reality. Pilate had no idea about while spectrum, the Big Picture if reality, only that he existed and he was in charge. Jesus corrected Him that he only had authority because it was given to him. He was confounded and very conflicted, thinking that washing his hands would somehow remove his guilt and pass it on to the Pharisees. He didn't want Jesus crucified. But it was not in His power. It was the will of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Actually Pilate could not have said no. It would like The Fonz saying, "I can't!"
Imagine though, if it were possible, that after all God's plan to save mankind, Jesus birth, life and mission, teaching and preparing the Apostles, all the miracles performing proving who He was, entering into Jerusalem on an donkey, being praised and worshipped, having the Last Supper, getting betrayed by Judas, captured, whipped ... everything falling perfectly in order and then Pilate says, "No, release him, he is innocent ... AND if anyone harms him, they will be put to death, including the High Priest!"
