The Yantar (Amber) oceanographic vessel of the Russian Navy - on a long-distance solo voyage across the northern Atlantic, passing Canada, to the islands of the Caribbean - has alarmed Pentagon, which suspects the high-tech ship is collecting intelligence on US nuclear submarines based at Kings Bay, Georgia.

Again... Interesting...

Indeed! Possibly the reason why the TCAS and ADS-B on incoming and outgoing aircraft are "unreliable" during this month, within this area and up to 200kms out to sea.

Go to just about any Christian forum that's been around for a while, and you'll see post after post after post after post after post like these.....all of which came to nothing.

What amazes me is how the people who keep crying "wolf" never seem to learn from, or even acknowledge the existence of, their history of false alarms. They just move on to the next one. <_<

What amazes me is how Christians seem to cringe at the idea of the end of time.
Whether it is now, or a thousand years from now, doesn't matter at all.
What does matter is whether or not you fear it....or welcome it.

I suppose, but I've never met a Christian like that. OTOH, I've met plenty of Christians who are soooooooo eager for the end times, that they glom on to every news story as a "sign".

All each of us can really do is have our own house in order, and try and share the Gospel with others.

Well, of course, we are eager! The very idea that our Lord is coming to take us to the place He has prepared for us...how could we not be eager? So, yes...we look for Him everywhere...in every news story. Can we be blamed, then?

True.
Of course, a very large part of the gospel is the Lord's promise to return for us.
Without that, the gospel message sort of falls flat.

Aren't all saved Christians going to be with Christ anyways? Whether it be when Jesus comes and takes us, or when we die and go there ourselves, we will get there. And given the terrible suffering and destruction that's suppose to accompany the end times, personally I'd rather not be around for that.

I don't think so. The Gospel is about God's sacrifice for our sins and His saving Grace. That by itself is a beautiful concept. :)

I have not seen this on other forums so I would not know. What I do know is that Christians need to be aware of what's going on around them inspite of it possibly being a fizzer. Particularly since we are living in volatile times. I am not a wolf cryer and you can check that out for yourself. I do however, feel led by God to bring this to the attention of believers who live in the US. This is a call for believers to pray and to get their lives right with God. This is also a call for salvation of souls. Blessings!
