Yes, you are right. Peter even denied knowing Him 3 times. The only person that seemed to know the truth was the thief on the cross! And pastors everywhere use the thief as an example against baptism. That thief had already become a believer and thus baptized and grasped more of what Jesus meant by just listening to Jesus preach than the disciples grasped in 3 years! It wasn't until after the resurrection for those 40 days that Peter learned the truth of why Jesus came, and that He would be coming back again.

Isn't it amazing what the baptism of the Holy Spirit can do in a person like Peter.

The scriptures never say that the thief went to Heaven, nor do the scriptures say that Christ went from the cross to Heaven. You can debate what Christ meant by paradise as has been debated for centuries.

There is not a Paul’s Gospel, all the disciples were in accord with Paul.

Paul is the one who defined His Gospel as "MY Gospel"........and that "no man taught me, as i received it by Revelation from Jesus Himself".
And any other gospel, is : Galatians 1:8......."cursed".

What Paul means by this.....is that The Cross of Christ Initiated the NT Church.....the body of Christ.
The Cross of Christ birthed "Christianity"........and this is for only a time.....that this door if open to the Gentiles, according to ONE Gospel, during the "time of the Gentiles".
This is Paul's Gospel........"the Gospel of the Grace of God".

"justification by Faith".

The scriptures never say that the thief went to Heaven,

Perhaps you think He went to Bolivia, or maybe Arizona?
Jesus told Him that "TODAY you will be with me".
So, we know that the Thief went with Jesus, and is still with Jesus, and where is Jesus?

You can debate what Christ meant by paradise as has been debated for centuries.

'Paradise" is "Abraham's bosom".

Not true.
in fact peter and the other apostels preached the same gospel
that years later Paul himself would come to beleive and to teach himself .
I dont know where this people gets the idea
there was two gospels to have ever been preached .
THEY all preached the same gospel . Times running out grailhunter .
ITS running out .
Many a sheep has bled throughout the ages and the centuries
and soon even in the western socities the cry will flip
from the time of the gathering as one under the ecumincal dung pile lie
and it will become REPENT OR ELSE and crusades against the true sheep will begin .
While it is today , let all who name the name of CHRIST
depart from inquity
and preach JESUS THE CHRIST . The DOOR will shut
and when it do all outside shall wail .

The Gospel that Peter preaches, didnt come from the other apostles.
It came from Jesus Himself......

This is why Paul calls The Gospel......"MY Gospel".

THEY all preached that one same gospel too my friend .
That would include PAUL . and all the sheep who were not even apostels .
AND guess what
ITS HIGH TIME WE ALL PREACH IT TOO , cause intefaith is gonna grave this entire generation .
We must do what we can WHILE WE STILL have the time .
Now dont fear man my friend , cause this is gonna cost us and cost us a whole lot too .
We wont be loved by them
we will be hated . But if we love them WE MUST SPEAK THE TRUTH no matter what they do to us .
ITS TIME FOR ALL OUT TRENCH WARFARE
and for every single sheep who names the name of CHRIST
to make our last and final stand to contend for the true faith
and to expose and correct all sins and errors and RIGHT NOW . some will hear
but MANY will reject . The love of the world has a strong hold on them now .
And many will double down and hurl insults and hater cards at the sheep .

Peter preached Paul's Gospel after Acts 15, as He met Paul.

They had different ministries, tho Peter sometimes dealt with Gentiles., but He was not an "apostle TO the gentiles".

Acts Chapter 10 indicates that Peter preached to the Gentiles.

Beyond that Acts indicates that Peter joined Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles and never indicates that he rejoined the twelve. The friendship that ensued between Paul and Peter is clear even though they did have their differences but it is clear that Paul was the leader as he corrected Peter…..history also indicates they were together in the end when they were martyred. Apostle to the Gentiles? I would say so.

You can call them Gospels. Good News. The whole New Testament can be referred to as Gospels, but to who? Christ made it clear that His ministry was to the Jews. And if you look at the red letters of Christ’s Words and conversations they were mostly with the Jews.

Christ turned Paul to preach to the Gentiles. And no Paul did not agree with the James or the other Apostles. The letter issued by James in Acts 15 was to the Gentiles even defining the difference between the Jewish-Christians and Gentile-Christians.

Jewish-Christians still required circumcision and worshipped in the temple. Paul made it clear circumcision was not required to be a Christian.

Acts Chapter 10 indicates that Peter preached to the Gentiles.

People on this forum preach to gentiles, all sorts of weird, cursed, Gospels.
For example.......telling people that "Hell does not exist" is a False Gospel.
So, "preaching to gentiles".....isn't proof of Paul's Gospel being preached.
That's for certain.

I can lead you to StSteven, here on this fourm, and He'll tell you that every unbeliever is going to heaven, and noone goes to Hell.
So, that is his false Gospel.........Galatians 1:8
There are many like this, on this forum.
There are hundreds, if not thousand of False Gospels in the world, being preached from Pulpits, from commentaries, books, from Youtube Videos, from false Religions, and and from TV.
We have a member here who likes to post His Face on His Videos for you to see, and He'll tell you that "The Cross is not about forgiveness of sin".
So, that is one more False Gospel.

They are Legion.

However, Paul's Gospel is THE Gospel, in the time of the Gentiles, that started with The Cross and will end when the Trib starts.
You wont find "THe Gospel of the Grace of God" (Paul's Gospel) being preached in the Trib.

Beyond that Acts indicates that Peter joined Paul’s ministry to the Gentiles and never indicates that he rejoined the twelve

Well, im assuming you know that Judas died, and this left 11,.......of the original 12.

Also, all the apostles went where they were led of the Holy Spirit to go and minister.

They died all over the place.

We have a meeting in Acts 15, and we have Paul and Peter in Galatians 2.

. The friendship that ensued between Paul and Peter is clear even though they did have their differences but it is clear that Paul was the leader as he corrected Peter…

Paul stated that he was in no way affected by the Apostles regarding their "position".
He was respectful but unimpressed.
He stated that He had accomplished more then all of them combined.

..history also indicates they were together in the end when they were martyred.

Nero had them both killed.
Perhaps the same day.

People forget about Sheol as a possible destination

Again you can debate what Christ meant by paradise and you and many have added to Christ’s Words but the scriptures do not add to what Christ said…

Jesus told the Dying Thief He'd be there today.
I said that He was with Jesus then and now.
Its a fact

Also, "Abrhams's Bosom" is "paradise".

Do, some study on this..

"Paradise" is not the Christian Heaven.
Its the Islamic Heaven, and theirs is a whorehouse in the Sky.

"paradise" according to the Bible is "Abraham's bosom".

Study it out.

Exactly.

1 Peter 3:19-20, "went and preached to the spirits in prison."

"Abraham's Bosom"

I know the scripture and some believe that it means that Christ went with the thief to Sheol and He preached the Gospel to those there.

I am not saying that is what it means for sure, just an interpretation.
