Someone once told me that when the Jews were slaves, Pharaoh had a tax of 90% of the grain produced but everyone needed more food as the crops were small. Then, as the story was told to me, Pharaoh lowered the tax to 10% and "the wheat grew in heaps."

I was never given a Bible reference. Is this truly a Bible quote? Or a "close enough?"

Hi; I don't recognize any such quote, but I'm sure it makes for a "good" narrative for certain politicians looking for votes...
