Please Pray for Jonathan

Hey everyone. I would like you to add this young man onto your prayer list or when you think of this post.

Jonathan's Father was a well known Pastor in my country who passed away a few years ago. After he went to be with the Lord, his family fell apart. The Pastors wife left to live in America and Jonathan [a teenager at the time] took on the responsibility to taking care of his little sister and their financial affairs. I met him a few times when a friend brought him over to visit while they was going to bible college.

It always seemed to be a battle to follow his train of thought because he was so philosophical in his idealistic view of life in general as a believer. My first impression was that he was extremely intelligent but my concern was that his intelligence was drawing him away from the simplicity of Christ.

The last time I heard from him was through a text message in 2011. He believed that God sent him to a particular city to preach the word of God. He is a very bold young man who doesn't have a problem going up to strangers to preach the gospel.

Just recently, another friend [not a believer] spotted him in that same city. He was in rags and living on the street. This friend thought that he was in a very bad way and believed that he was at deaths door...He offered to give him some money but he refused. He also asked him if he would like to go and have something to eat with him but he refused that also. I was very sad to hear what had become of Jonathan and told my friend that when he spots him again to ask him to come and stay with me. Hopefully I will be able to help him and get him back on the right path.

Please pray for him because I really do think that the voice he is hearing right now is not the voice of God and I truly think he needs some sisterly TLC.

Back when RW Schambach was living he offered the entire collection of his sermon library on an Ipod for a price. It was a collection of about 300 hour long sermons and it has been quite the task to listen to and to make YouTube videos out of.

I went to Hawaii back in October and had to run to the WalMart from the ships pier. This WalMart was a few miles away so I took my Schambach collection with me. There is a lot of homelessness in Hawaii and it is an ongoing problem. I saw one young man on a bike with one of those cardboard help signs. I took the ear buds out of my ears and asked him what he needed. It was an ado trying to get the young guy to spit out what he wanted from me. Finally he said he would like a Big Mac. I went into the Walmart and then stopped by the attached McDonalds and bought two BigMacs, fries, and a drink.

I then asked him if he wouldn't mind if we prayed before he ate the food and he nodded in the affirmative. He then reached out both of his hands and I took a hold of them and the Holy Spirit hit me as I started to pray. He really held on tight all through the prayer... Right there in the parking lot! RW Schambach will fire you up. He is not at all a denominational guy and is like the Brother Love in the old Neil Diamond song. RW Schambach has actually held revival in synagogues and I just don't know how that worked out with the Rabbis. He would reach out to those who would support his tent revivals no matter the denomination.

Father, I pray for these homeless youngmen that you would send revival and help them on their feet. I remember the young man in Hawaii and Angelina's friend Jonathan that you would fire up their life and put them in the right direction. In Jesus name I pray.
