Yes man can battle with God, either individually or collectively as in the case of God and Magog or in the battle of Armageddon. But why would want to individually or collectively chose to be on the losing team?

I think the most important battle we individually fight is that of the "natural man" who is an enemy to God.

Is not our greatest work in this life a battle to submit our will unto the will of our Father as Christ chose to do and follow His example?

Is not then, that we truly overcome the world through faith and repentance and eventually become "partakers of the divine nature"?
