Pointing to Christ.

There can be no higher glory, work, blessings for the children of God. But to point the hearts of the objects of His love to their Savior. This is not only food for the hearer, but the speaker also. This fellowship of one heart touching another heart. This blesses both with a growth, knowledge, an increase of Christ in their innermost being, that causes the heart to rejoice and be enlarged with Christ. For the “more of Christ,” the heart possesses, the more can the heart rest and rejoice in the One who loves them.

This pointing to Christ, in and by all we do, by all we say. By all our expressions of whatever our hand finds to do. This expression of Christ from the heart. A true expression, a heart and life expression. This testimony of Christ, being actually, being manifested in our lives. This expression of love, this expression of righteousness in all of our actions. This, how we deal with people and circumstances is the testimony of Christ in us.

Are we showing love, mercy, preferring our brothers over ourselves, or are we lording it over those we feel are inferior for one reason or another. For this is the easiest and surest sign of carnality in a believer. For when one thinks they are better or above another, this is just because they don’t yet know themselves. For we are all equally sinful and all need a Savior just the same. To be saved from the one thing we all have in common. And that is self....For self is that which we need to be saved from, and all ourselves are the same.

For this immovable, unchangeable truth remains;

~If it’s self, it’s sin, if it’s Christ, it’s not.~

This pointing to the One who is not sin. This pointing to our only hope of ever being made to walk as He walked. To walk before Him and be thou perfect, in all we do, say, think, dream, hope, desire.

The heart that would have this as their goal. Have this bar set before them. Not turning to the right or left as the storms of doubt and criticisms come. The heart that not only points others to Christ, but, foremost points itself to Christ. For one can not help another to something they themselves do not yet possess. And being possessed of by Christ is the hope, goal, dream, the hearts cry of all those that would be His totally, completely. To be so one with Christ. That the scripture;

“for to live is Christ, to die is gain”

That the meaning and the experience of the meaning of this scripture would be made real in each and every life that would be willing to be;

All of Him and nothing of me.

Blessings to all who's hearts would ache and cry after the manifestation of this in their lives. For they shall be filled.

Much love in Christ, Not me
