With the rising of evil and growth of the kingdom of darkness the need for prayer is growing. The main point is that the world should not be in this state if the church holds the key to life. (Matthew 16:19) Jesus told us and gave us the keys to the kingdom of heaven and he gave us the power to bind and loose (Matthew 18:18). Why are we not binding and loosing? You have to bind the strongman before you can set devastation to his house and ultimately destroy his kingdom (Mark 3:27). God works with the power that He has indowned in us (Ephesians 3:20) if we do not began to work and war against the kingdom of darkness he will begin to grow and prosper. Men and women of the kingdom of God are the salt of the earth and we are loosing our saltiness (Matthew 5:16). The reason why our economic, political, social and spiritual conditions are getting worse is because of our apathy and indifference in the CHURCH. The church is the pillar of the community. Acts 1:8 states behold I give you power to witness! Jesus released His power to us to use it! Prayer is our key, prayer can go places that we can not. Because God declared in 2 Chronicles 7:14 that If we his people will humble ourselves, pray, seek his face and turn from our wicked ways then will He here from heaven forgive us and heal the land. We can not wait on the government, world system, civil activist and our church leaders to act because they can not. We as the people of God have power in our prayer to change world systems, organizations, institutions, governments, falsehood, principalities, powers, dominions, and all evils. Jesus has consecrated and ordained to be used powerfully for him through our prayers. (James 5:16) declares that the effective and ferverant prayers of the righteous availeth much. Prayer releases a signal to the enemy that we are actively warring in the realm of the spirit and fighting for the cause of Christ, Prayer is incense to God and he moves by the prayers of his people.
