Prayer for a friends salvation

I would like to ask you all to pray for a friend of mine. I know God had put him in my life for me to lead him to Jesus and teach him of the gospel, but he won't let me right now and I'm not sure what to do. Just pray for this boys salvation, that he discovers love that he doesn't believe in, and faith. Pray that he's delivered from the pain and wounds that life has caused him, the depression he has and most importantly, the addiction to pills and alcohol he's developed.
