Thanks Rita. They already denied me state help and I had a letter from my doctor saying I was at a stage in my illness where I couldn't work. The states here don't take care of schizophrenics very often unless your a mental vegetable. Ever since the federal government gave power back to the states it's been a disaster.

But I have experience with people that have gotten on disability....with a lot less issues than you and I am not kidding.

As I read it you have had this for sometime.
I am going to assume that your work history will reflect that.
You have seen how many doctors.....get those records.
As I read it you have been turned down for disability....note that date and the paperwork because they will give you back pay to that date.
Also as I read it you have continued to have severe problems after being turned down.
Now you need to do some research and find a good disability lawyer.....even if you had a lawyer in the past.
They do not deduct points for reapplying.
And some of these lawyers will not charge you unless you win and they will generally know if they have a good chance.

I have an attorney. I got turned down because I didn't go see their doctor to get a disability determination. I appealed and got a lawyer. He said I have to see their doctor this time. Thanks for your help Grailhunter.

Unfortunately, many attorneys advertise that they won't charge unless they win. The fact is that they have no choice. They know it is the law, but they want people to believe that they, the attorneys, are being a nice guys.

I have schizophrenia and cystic fibrosis. Because of it I can't hold a job, neither full time or part time. I have these schizophrenic attacks that I have to take meds for and sleep and they hit me 10 days per month. They hit me at random so that I cannot be reliable.

My only chance to survive in this life is to either get family (my family won't be around forever and time is running out) or state assistance (which is really difficult right now in the state I live for people with schizophrenia).

But there is one other way for me to survive. And that is to work from home in a way that is at my own pace. So I have decided to start making software, which I have done in the past. I'm OK at it and think if I can come up with an idea then I could make some money off it.

So please pray that God blesses me with a programming idea. Currently I just can't think of anything.

@Debp I'm down at random about 1/4 to 1/2 of any given month because of the illnesses I have now. Got worse about 2.5 years ago. But for that up time I am able to work on physics at my own pace. I'm not sure how it will work out and if I will ever make any money with it. But it gives me something to do with my time.
