I will try to keep this short if possible:

In 2005, I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. In 2016 I had the surgery to remove parts of my colon. From 2016-2023 I would have a scope to see if my J-pouch was still good.

Now this Wednesday (3/4/26) I'm having a colonoscopy. I have been very anxious about it. So please pray that this will go well.

Now my question. As mentioned, for the past few days including this morning (3/1/26) I have been very anxious. I was anxious on my way to church. When I got back to the house from church, my mood has been calm. I don't feel as anxious as I was the past few days. Could this be The Lords work?

Thanks

Anxiety is not from God.
Calmness IS from God.

Please let us know how your testing went!

I had the test this morning. It took an hour to get to the back room, but once I put the gown on, they were quick to put me into the testing room. So they found a polyp, & they removed it. They going to do a bio on it, & they found a couple of ulcers. So after the procedure, they had me do lab work. I'm trying not to worry about it since they did one a week or two ago & they never called back. My follow up is on March 19th. Trying to be positive.

Yes I believe your visit to church calmed you...the presence of the Holy Spirit being with you. The Holy Spirit indwells us but going to fellowship with other believers can be strengthening.

You have my sympathies and prayers as soon I will be going for a 'scope' due to ongoing PCS (post-gall blader removal symptoms).

My own father has worn an Ileostomy bag for as long as I have been alive (48 years), from his own long ago ulcerative colitis.

Thank you for the update! Maybe you can call your Primary Care doc to find out the results?
Praying for peace while you wait :pray::pray:
