Is Obama Really Preparing for Civil War?
A Critical Decision
December 11, 2009
Pastor Chuck Baldwin
According to an obscure report in the European Union Times, "Russian Military Analysts are reporting to Prime Minister Putin that US President Barack Obama has issued an order to his Northern Command's (USNORTHCOM) top leader, US Air Force General Gene Renuart, to 'begin immediately' increasing his military forces to 1 million troops by January 30, 2010, in what these reports warn is an expected outbreak of civil war within the United States before the end of winter.
"According to these reports, Obama has had over these past weeks 'numerous' meetings with his war council abut how best to manage the expected implosion of his Nation's banking system while at the same time attempting to keep the United States military hegemony over the World in what Russian Military Analysts state is a 'last ditch gambit' whose success is 'far from certain.'"
The EU Times article continues by saying, "To the fears of Obama over the United States erupting into civil war once the full extent of the rape and pillaging of these peoples by their banks and government becomes known to them, grim evidence now shows the likelihood of this occurring much sooner than later."
The Times story goes on to say that there are "over 220 million American people armed to the teeth and ready to explode."
The Times article concludes by saying, "Though the coming civil war in the United States is being virtually ignored by their propaganda media, the same cannot be said of Russia, where leading Russian political analyst, Professor Igor Panarin has long warned that the economic turmoil in the United States has confirmed his long-held view that the US is heading for collapse."
Many of us would be inclined to pooh-pooh such a story, but then there is this column from Bloomberg.com entitled "Arming Goldman With Pistols Against Public," written by Alice Schroeder. According to Ms Schroeder:
"'I just wrote my first reference for a gun permit,' said a friend, who told me of swearing to the good character of a Goldman Sachs Group Inc. banker who applied to the local police for a permit to buy a pistol. The banker had told this friend of mine that senior Goldman people have loaded up on firearms and are now equipped to defend themselves if there is a populist uprising against the bank."
There is no doubt that the American people have good reason to despise these international banksters epitomized by Goldman Sachs. Even one of Goldman's poster-boys, Henry Paulson, US Treasury secretary and former Goldman CEO, admitted that the American people were fed up. Schroeder quotes Paulson as saying, during testimony to Congress last summer, "[People] were unhappy with the big discrepancies in wealth, but they at least believed in the system and in some form of market-driven capitalism. But if we had a complete meltdown, it could lead to people questioning the basis of the system."
Schroeder correctly opines, "There you have it. The bailout was meant to keep the curtain drawn on the way the rich make money, not from the free market, but from the lack of one. Goldman Sachs blew its cover when the firm's revenue from trading reached a record $27 billion in the first nine months of this year, and a public that was writhing in financial agony caught on that the profits earned on taxpayer capital were going to pay employee bonuses."
Schroeder concludes her column by saying, "And if the proles [proletariat: plebs, working class, peasants] really do appear brandishing pitchforks at the doors of Park Avenue and the gates of Round Hill Road, you can be sure that the Goldman guys and their families will be holed up in their safe rooms with their firearms."
So, do Wall Street and Russian analysts know something that we don't know? Is this why George W. Bush initiated USNORTHCOM to begin with? Is this why Barack Obama is beefing up USNORTHCOM? This would help explain the reports of all those potential detention camps that have been constructed (including the abandoned military installations that have refurbished security fences, guard towers, etc., around them). Has the American people's disgust with these crooks and thieves within the federal government and Wall Street reached a boiling point?
There is no question that people are angry, and for good reason.
The fraudulent financial policies of the Federal Reserve and its lackeys in the White House and Congress have literally bankrupted the country. Real unemployment is most likely over 20%. Taxes (along with costly fees, regulations, restrictions, penalties, mandates, etc.) at every level are going through the ceiling. America's jobs have been outsourced. Barack Obama continues G.W. Bush's irresponsibility, digging America deeper and deeper into foreign entanglements, at the cost of trillions of dollars and thousands of lives. The IRS continues to harass and harangue honest citizens, squeezing them like the proverbial turnip. And now, add the insanity of a global climate treaty being hammered out in Copenhagen, and a universal health care bill being rammed through Congress, and the outlook is even gloomier.
I feel very comfortable in saying that the usurpations of power, the encroachments upon liberty, and the arrogant tax-and-spend policies emanating from Washington, D.C., and Wall Street these days are far more egregious than what George Washington and the boys were enduring in 1775-76 at the hands of the British Crown. There is no doubt in my mind that if Thomas Jefferson, Patrick Henry, and Sam Adams were alive today, they would have given cause for the Goldman Sachs banksters to retreat to their bunkers years ago!
The fact is, we do need a revolution! But not a revolution of anarchy and pitchforks. (The history of France should be ample evidence of the futility of this strategy.) We need a revolution of the individual states: to reclaim their sovereignty and fight for the liberties of their sovereigns (We the People). That is exactly what our forefathers did in '76.
America's founding document (the Declaration of Independence) declares that our states are "free and independent." And so they are. We are not "one nation" with one all-powerful central government. We are a confederation of nation-states, united in a voluntary union, with each State reserving to itself the power and authority of self-determination, and ceding to the federal government limited, specifically delineated duties and limitations – limitations that have been totally ignored to the point that, for all intents and purposes, our once-great constitutional republic has been thoroughly expunged. Therefore, it is NOW time for the states to stand up to this meddlesome, every-growing tyranny that is known as Washington, D.C., and defend the rights and liberties of their citizens!
What Dr. Ed Vieira (an attorney with 4 earned degrees from Harvard, who has successfully argued cases before the US Supreme Court) wrote a few weeks ago should serve as a template for every State governor and legislature that truly cares about liberty. See Ed's column.
As Vieira says, the states should resurrect their militias. Many – if not all – states have the legal authority for such entities in their constitutions. In some states they are called the State Guard. Some plainly use the word "militia." Whatever they are called, they need to be activated. And all that is necessary for this to be accomplished is the order of the governor. It's that simple!
And as Vieira said, states need to adopt an alternative currency – including, and most especially, gold and silver. In other words, they need to develop their own private economies, complete with their own banks and exchange mediums. They also need to reject the multinational agribusiness and develop their own in-State agricultural and energy businesses.
I would dare say that the first State that determines to follow Vieira's sagacious counsel (and rumblings of this have already begun in states such as Alaska, Oklahoma, Texas, Montana, New Hampshire, Indiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, etc.) would have so many liberty-loving patriots flock there that its economy would explode with prosperity – resulting in a domino effect of many other states following suit – and the revolution that this country so desperately needs would indeed take place. Furthermore, such a revolution would be constitutional, lawful, moral, and, yes, in compliance with the laws of Nature and of Nature's God.
In the meantime, is Barack Obama really worried about civil war? He might be. It is my observation that Washington politicians and bureaucrats are the most paranoid people on the planet. The problem is – as with most power-hungry Machiavellians – their paranoia often translates into more oppression and less liberty for the citizenry. And if this is true, it simply means that the states need to hurry up and do what needs to be done!

For the past 30 years they have put the milita in prison and made milta look like evil unamerican terrorists. All over the news and trying to turn the public against milita and they have done so. Who will revolt?

In 1776 we revolted and became a Confedarcy. In 1788 we changed governments and fromed a constitutional government which the founding fathers were very against. Then in 1860 Patroits wanted to go back to the founding fathers government and what happened? So, it merged out as corporate american and then in 1960 the one-world govern was put to print and then in 2005 congress voted to give the president dictorial power. If you have a civil war name some that could know what type of government to lean toward. You have people today that think the civil war was over slavery. There is little knowledge of much of anything. Fight to give it back to the Queen?

The movie Patroit w/Gibson and the scene where the want was for "give me two shots" --- that was Andrew Pickens, one of my relatives. My family has been patroitic and proven themselves. Now, render unto da gov and render and render and render............ :rolleyes: Pray that these evil ones will be replace with God fearing men who will stand for what's right. YOu're not going to get all Christians but maybe plenty that do fear God and realize that they do have to give account.

Look at the Swiss Confederacy and their government, crime, law, morality, etc.....

And ours: murder capital of the world, divorce capital of the world, viloient crime capital of the world and on and on. If some of the ones we point fingers at as being bad are so bad, then why aren't they the murder capital of the world? Why are more people in prision here than in Russia and China combined? Why; telll me why.......

Dear Sam: In a hundred years, every person alive today will be dead.

The real question is: How many of those souls will you have helped come to the foot of the cross?

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

I've lead a number to Christ; unsure exactly how many. God is their judge.

Do you have a number? It's OK if you do or don't.View attachment 17

It isn't wise to put too much credence in Russian pronouncements. They are naturally prone to accept any wild story that presumes dark days for America. Then again they are naturally prone to accept all sorts of wild stories, period. Pravda, once a respected purveyor of Soviet propaganda, has become little more than a Russian supermarket tabloid.
* * *
Likewise it isn't wise to put too much emphasis on individual rhetoric and opposition to the bloated and increasingly ineffective Federal government. Individuals can do little to oppose the machinations of Uncle Sam, but states can do much.
Individual voices seem to be discussing secession, but state actions are the focus of real effort. As true Federal action to deal with our problems wanes, trends indicate that individual states will take up the responsibility.
* * *
Arizona's new immigration law is a case in point. Many are arguing whether the immigration law is good or bad, and fail to see the underlying issue. States rights. In this case, the legislature of the Great State of Arizona has decided to make policy THAT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT WILL NOT OR CAN NOT ADDRESS.
I personally witnessed a recent debate in the chambers of the Florida House of Representatives wherein a member openly declared that he had sworn an oath to the constitution of Florida and would therefore act in opposition to Federal policy (where it conflicted with Florida's interests). BTW the Florida Keys successfully seceded from the union in 1986 and to this day remains THE CONCH REPUBLIC; the only secession in US history to succeed.
* * *
Here are a few thoughts to consider. At present the Federal government seems to be willing to do nothing to support the interests of citizen tax payers and everything to support financiers, large corporations and military adventures. Citizen discontent with Washington is at an all time high. The only real glue that binds this country together today is Federal grant money. WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF THE US DOLLAR SUDDENLY BECAME WORTHLESS - or worth much less?
* * *
Individual states, like Arizona, would take up their responsibility and address their local issues. Minus Federal money they would go their own way thus creating a secession by default. Nay sayers declare that individual states are just as corrupt as Washington, but if truth be told the situation is more like Las Vegas sin; what happens in the state stays in the state. The suction of local jobs for the sake of foreign interest would stop. The loss of tax money for foreign aid to nations which hate us would stop. Foreign wars supporting wealthy corporations would stop. Best of all, Federal interference in our liberties would stop.
* * *
In case you've not guessed it by now, this writer is in favor of secession; peaceful, lawful, and true to the spirit of the Declaration of Independence and article 5 of the US Constitution. Americans have a right to decide how we are governed - and we have not been governed well these last few years.

Anything is possible in America. I mean who would have ever thought that the Bill of Rights would have been trashed after 9/11.

Texas has said they may break away from the United States........... But Christiana's article sound more like mobs of criminals than it does real civil war.

The economy has gone in the drink before without a civil war. Remember the great depression? My Grandfather said they ate flour Biscuits every day, and on Sunday went and got animal fat for flavored Biscuits as a treat. Fruits and veggies where out of the question. Also the Summers got so hot, people all over the neighborhood slept outdoors. Even the most poor people today have microwaves, TV, and a place to keep food cold. I doubt there is going to be any Civil War.

Robster:

Bill of rights trashed??

It appears that these young Politicians have in fact passed or attempted to pass laws that violate peoples constitutional rights. They do this when they consider certain groups should have no rights, when in fact everyone here should have equal rights.

As an example in MO, Registered Sex offenders had to be incarcerated in their own home during Halloween. (Why not the 4th of July when more Children are running around in the dark unsupervised)
The Halloween law locked up anyone that had committed a sexual offense even though they done their time, and were free in society. This Halloween law was passed even though there is not once case since 1973 in WI of any Child being hurt by any sexual predator. If someone wants to commit a sexual offense, they are going to do so anyway, why incarcerate free people to their home on Halloween?

The MO supreme Court overturned the Law, and the Law where sex offenders can not live within 1,000 feet of a School. This causes more issues as the Law is only effect those convicted after 2004, so that makes more work for Law enforcement to sort em all out.

If they would just sentence these sex offenders with lots more years, and then put them in civil commitment until they show they don't even think of a swear word, we would not have all these unconstitutional laws to keep track of them. Currently the system has not shown to work, it violates Peoples rights, and we can only keep track of the compliant ones that are not re-offending. it's the missing ones we need to be concerned about. We need to keep them lots longer after the crime is committed.

Why bring up Sex offenders???????

Because Politicians test the water by violating the constitutional rights of those society does not like as a whole, and soon violations of rights creep in for everyone. People are ignorant and cheer laws against sex offenders, and like laws, not understanding that they are just making way to loose their rights.

Jesus Is Lord

Very good perspective on what hard times were Brother Mike.

If you want to start any kind of war in America just take away their porn, their illegal drugs and cable tv and you've insured it will happen.

Cudos to your powers of observation.

If you want to start a war ANYWHERE, just interfere with the drugs, or flow of alcoholic beverages, or anything that the big corporations and public demand.

Three things seem to be able to do what legislation or self-control cannot.
1. One is natural disaster.
2. One is economic hard times.

3. One is war - I mean a really tough one, not the easy going brush fire wars we've played around with in the last sixty years or so.

America has already had its share of natural disasters and we are already neck deep in number two.

This Administration is not going to start a “Civil War”. They tried that in the 60’s.
They want control - which they are taking. They want a world bank - They're close. And they want a happy "green world" - with the USA paying$$$$
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution….. The Beatles

But boy, does this not sound scarily familiar?
I hate to be “doom & gloom” but I think you can find this in the last book of the Bible. Remember, “We WIN!”
Our best chance to change this is in the voting booth, with our families and friends, and on our knees.

perhaps.... but I'm beginning to wonder if we can trust the voting booths. The left has used voter fraud before and I'm sure they'll do it again.

I'm from Florida and NO you can't trust the voting machines.

Don't be so quick to blame Democrats for voter fraud. The Republicans have been at it much longer and are much better at it.
Republican fraud was rampant in Florida in 2000 and moved to Ohio four years later.

But the bottom line is that Democrats and Republicans are two heads of the same dragon.

It ISN'T the voters who control this country, its the big corporations and the military.

Our elected representatives are merely figureheads; showpieces to salve the dull minds of Americans who care for nothing more than Sunday football, NASCAR, and a perpetual flow of Budweiser beer.
