This is the Story of Satan he is the Prince/King of Tyrus .............................Prince of TyrusEze 28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,Eze 28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thine heart [is] lifted up, and thou hast said, I [am] a God, I sit [in] the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet thou [art] a man, and not God, though thou set thine heart as the heart of God:Here are 3 things that the LORD is having son of man say unto the prince of Tyrus. 1. Your heart is lifted up - You are prideful2. You have said you are a God3. You sit in the holy place in Jerusalem (the seat of God)These are 3 serious charges. They are not false charges but actual things this prince of Tyrus is guilty of. Of course we are speaking of the prince of darkness who is allowed power as the prince of this world for a short time to manifest it.Eze 28:3 Behold, thou [art] wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from thee:This is not just some angel that got a big head here. He was an anointed cherubim in the first earth age. Satan did earn the right to protect the mercy seat, and God knows his abilities and had rewarded it at one time.Eze 28:4 With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures:Satan has done well for himself, with his advantage he was and will be able to accomplish this. Tyrus was off the coast of Zidon where the kenites did trade with the world. Eze 28:5 By thy great wisdom [and] by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches:Satan thinks enough of himself to put himself up as God. He really believes he is greater than God! Have you ever encountered a person like this? One that knows everything but misses the whole point in the process of their "knowing it all"? Well, that is much like Satan's behavior. In all his pride, he misses it all.Eze 28:6 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Because thou hast set thine heart as the heart of God;Satan does believe that he can overthrow God. I have seen this question come up many times: Why does Satan keep this all up when he knows he is defeated? Well, as clever as Satan is, he obviously isn't as smart as he thinks. He is so full of himself he does not get he was for all intensive purposes defeated on the cross,God allows him to be set free for Gods own purposes in effect using Satans own delusions of grandur to seperate the wheat from the chaff in his children.during the tribulation period. Eze 28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon thee, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of thy wisdom, and they shall defile thy brightness. The swords that are drawn are not actual swords here. It is symbolic of the word of the Lord. What is the terrible of the nations? It is more than one as we can see from the word "they". They are going to defile his brightness. How does God's word show Satan for what he really is? Because it is the truth!Eze 28:8 They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of [them that are] slain in the midst of the seas.Because of the words (God's words) these people shall speak with the help of the Holy Spirit against Satan, he shall be brought down. His sentence of death is a just sentence and he has earned it through his pridefullness and disobedience to God! Eze 28:9 Wilt thou yet say before him that slayeth thee, I [am] God? but thou [shalt be] a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slayeth thee.In other words, God is asking him, "Are you so prideful that even to the bitter end you are going to claim that you are God?" Of course he is not God nor will he ever be.Eze 28:10 Thou shalt die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken [it], saith the Lord GOD.What makes these people God speaks of, strangers to Satan? Because Satan does not know them, nor their ways, for they are faithful to the Lord and stood with him in the world that was, in the world that is, and the world that is to come. They are the Elect the fore chosen Satan knows the inner workings of those that sided with him, those he drew along with him. Was he in the presence of them in the world that was? Yes, but he knew them not because he chose not to. He chose to defy God and was against all those that stood with God.Eze 28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,Eze 28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Thou sealest up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.God made him the full pattern. Satan was created for good, not for evil and he was wonderfully made; yet inequity was found in him.Eze 28:13 Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast created. He deceived Adam and Eve in the role of the serpent (the hissing one). How beautiful he was before Eve. Yes, she was wholly seduced by him through his beauty and craftiness.Eze 28:14 Thou [art] the anointed cherub that covereth; and I have set thee [so]: thou wast upon the holy mountain of God; thou hast walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.Instead of protecting the mercy seat, he attempted to take it. His betrayal of God was that he did not protect the mercy seat but rather, out of pride, tried to take it for himself; thefore attempting to dethrone God and take over as God.Eze 28:15 Thou [wast] perfect in thy ways from the day that thou wast created, till iniquity was found in thee.Satan became consumed in loving himself and no longer loved God. Personally, I don't think he loved anything or anyone else other than himself, not even those that took his side. Eze 28:16 By the multitude of thy merchandise they have filled the midst of thee with violence, and thou hast sinned: therefore I will cast thee as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy thee, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.Violence here means just that, violence. Physical violence is caused by moral violence; they are one in the same. Here God is declaring he will remove him from among God's children. God will no longer tolerate Satan's presence among his children or at all for that matter.Eze 28:17 Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee.Michael is holding Satan in heaven in chains, until that time he is cast down to the earth as the spurious messiah (Rev 12:6-7). At the 5th/6th trump he will come claiming to be God and will sit in Jerusalem, and all his beauty and his wisdom shall come forth to deceive the world. Not just the wicked, all that do not have the seal/mark of God in their minds (forehead) God however wants all to come to repentence, unto Him. It is our Father's plan. It shall come to pass. Satan will show up to play out his role as the fake savior that is Anti christ. At the 7th trump, Christ comes and removes him from his postion he has put himself in.Eze 28:18 Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee.God is a consuming fire, and while God resides the hearts of those that love Him; God brings Satan, who abhors Him to ashes. Satan is brought down to nothing. Satan's thoughts of highness and greatness has destroyed him. He has brought about his own demise and is too prideful to repent and return to the righteousness that is of God, preferring to stand in defiance against Him. Satan has already been judged and will be turned to ashes (blotted out)in the lake of fire which is called the second death. This is the ultimate death, the death of the soul. There are fallen angels that came in Genesis 6 and are also in chains in heaven, awaiting their final judgement as well ((Jude verses 1-6) . They are thrown down with Satan and I think they will make up that supernatural kingdom written of in Revelation and will be those 7,000 slain when Christ returns.Eze 28:19 All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt] thou [be] any more.Who would know Satan among the people? Those that sided with him. Deceived or willingly going against God, they followed him, and worshipped him on the earth. Yes, they will be definitely astonished at Satan's demise. They had expected him to be the Savior and he wasn't much of anything at all.God has given us quite a few verses here identifying who He is talking about, God lets us know he once favored Satan. In the day he created Lucifer, he was the full pattern. God goes on to tell us in spite of all his beauty and wisdom, inequity was found in Lucifer and he fell. God tells us specifically how he fell and tells us the price Satan will ultimately pay for his transgression against Him. He also lets us know that Satan was unwiling to repent of his betrayl to God. And we must realize also that God is not only removing Satan from His presence, but from our presence. God removes that which is violent to his children, that tries to destroy His children; therefore we can ultimately see this is an act of love from God. I believe God wants us to understand the situation as it is. He does not want us to be here without knowing what is going on. There is no room for misunderstanding if it is written. We have been written of all things. I have fore told you all things these are Gods words to us That is why we study God's word and stay close to Him in prayer. It is why we have our gospel armor in place and why we watch. Without the word, we are truly lost. "In the beginning was the word....."

Most welcome haanne for a really intersting study compare this study with Isa. 14they are basically one in the same a second wittness to each other.Note:lucifer is called both son of morning and morning star (son of dawn) 12How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! (KJV)12 How you have fallen from heaven, O morning star, son of the dawn! You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations!(NIV)

Red if you have trouble with Eze 17 let me know and I'll make a post It can partically difficult because its a parable of a riddle Eze 17:1-24. PARABLE OF THE TWO GREAT EAGLES, AND THE CROPPING OF THE CEDAR OF LEBANON. JUDAH IS TO BE JUDGED FOR REVOLTING FROM BABYLON, WHICH HAD SET UP ZEDEKIAH INSTEAD OF JEHOIACHIN, TO EGYPT; GOD HIMSELF, AS THE RIVAL OF THE BABYLONIAN KING, IS TO PLANT THE GOSPEL CEDAR OF MESSIAH. The date of the prophecy is between the sixth month of Zedekiah's sixth year of reign and the fifth month of the seventh year after the carrying away of Jehoiachin, that is, five years before the destruction of Jerusalem [HENDERSON]. 2. riddle--a continued allegory, expressed enigmatically, requiring more than common acumen and serious thought. The Hebrew is derived from a root, "sharp," that is, calculated to stimulate attention and whet the intellect. Distinct from "fable," in that it teaches not fiction, but fact. Not like the ordinary riddle, designed to puzzle, but to instruct. The "riddle" is here identical with the "parable," only that the former refers to the obscurity, the latter to the likeness of the figure to the thing compared it is also a double a type and a future prophecy that is a type past and future Example: Babylon is place but also is a type as seen in Rev. mystery Babylon the Word means Babble (confusion) it is also very symbolicThis is an important chapter it lays the foundation for split of Joseph's birthright
