Because the UK government has catered to the Muslims, the British are rising up now. Hopefully this will bring true faith in Christ to all... including Muslims.
There are many Christian events in and around London, one is The Passion of Jesus - Wintershall

There are also many local events organised by churches in there areas to tell the Christmas story is more than tinsel, food and drink.
From carol singing in shopping precinct, leaflet drops to church services.
Do tell us what your church is doing to challenge the commercial dominance at Christmas.

I'm 75 and homebound so not able to attend church anymore. But the churches here do have Christmas services and Christmas Eve services. I always loved attending those with my mother...she died last year at 94 years old.
What area of the UK are you in? County is ok if you don't want to tell your city.
Looks like a fun, good hearted place to be for them and I know God watches over his people, whether in church or events, and servant works, the poor, sick and afflicted, elderly, children, sinners still out there.
When we help the less fortunate get relief we are relieving Jesus and his Father's suffering as they are the most loving and caring souls to the measure of all their creations. The true spirit of the heart of care for one another is providing for someone else so that they are able to feel better, and in those times we can feel happy feelings and thoughts with them and with God's holy spirit.
We have plenty of churches in my area and events locally. We can invite the less fortunate with us too. If there are not churches or events in your area, you can make one even if it's small. And enjoy in God, heavenly Mother, their holy angels spirit of love and peace and even joy in God's creations, which is you.

It was a fabulous service....it got better and better as it went along, Spirit filled.
Service starts about 40 minutes in. Great testimony by a pastor who was a witch his youth...see it about 1 hour 5 minutes into the video. Other good testimonies as well! Singing got better and better.
Invitation to receive, believe on the Lord given too. I'm watching it all at intervals.

Wow... listen to what the London mayor (Muslim) said about the Christmas carol celebration! He was totally wrong...no trouble at all at the event.
