Wow, Good question ....Mmmm hard to pick one...
Can I have two! :D
The first one was obviously when I SAW clearly what God had done in sending Jesus for us.
Second one - the first sight of our first baby...
And #3 The northern lights for the first time in 1975 ...green, blue pink ...AMAZING indeed

Q.. Okay ...same question for you...because its a good one.

Your most amazing thing. :)
You're right! this is a hard one!

The northern lights seen in Boulder Colorado in 1980, all those colors, absolutely amazing!

My toes when looking straight down! Never thought I'd see those again.

And the #1 most amazing thing is . . . my Bible. for what He shows me in it.

Did you ever watch David Letterman?

Q Who are Jim Elliot and Nate Saint?
2 of actually 5 men who went into a Equadorean jungle in the mid 1950's to evangelize the natives. They overflew the village, showing themselves, and dropping gifts. After several times, they landed on a nearby river beach. They were promptly killed.

This was through Mission Aviation Fellowship, which was operating out of our municiple airport in those days. I happened to know one of the founders, a friend of the family.

Through Gates of Splendor - Wikipedia

Through Gates of Splendor was written by Elizabeth Elliot, who also wrote The End of the Spear.

I saw her speak many years ago, I think it was my school in my 9th grade, her, and the man who murdered her husband.

After the men were killed, she went into the tribe and won them for Christ, including this man.

Much love!

Oh . . . have you ever flown in a small plane, Cessna, like that?

First air flight was a small plane with skis. Took off from the water and landed on the water.

Have you ever had a peanut butter and onion sandwich?

Have you ever had a peanut butter and onion sandwich?
No, but I used to love honey and onion, and peanut butter with just about everything else.

How often do you see the people from your church on occasions other than worship or prayer?

A trilogy, actually, Harry Blamires, "The Devil's Hunting Ground", "Cold War in Hell", and "Highway to Heaven".

A quote . . .

“You have heard that evil is a perversion of the good. The greatest goods can be perverted into the greatest evils. The poor man has not the opportunities for covetousness and self-indulgence which the rich man enjoys. The unlettered man has not the opportunities for intellectual pride and arrogance which the scholar may succumb to. An irreligious man may prostitute the flesh; but it takes a 'religious' man to prostitute the things of the Spirit and the Church of God. Every gift, every insight, ever vision, every talent brings its demand for self-forgetfulness in sanctified service: each brings its opportunities for richer worship or for more damnable self-love. The slum labourer may pervert beer and steak to the sole end of abusing an indulged body. It takes a bishop to pervert episcopacy to the service of self-indulgence; it takes a monk to pervert the religious life to the service of pride.”

Hey, I think @Episkopos might like this one!

No. Not crazy about tomatos or avocados. Have to mince food I don't like into tiny pieces ... too much fussing for a sandwich. Lol

Have you ever rode on a zip-line?

Yes, once out, and once back. "And then you just step off", she said with a smile!

Were you in the "be home before the streetlights come on" generation?
