Question regarding once saved, always saved

The man needs to repent and confess Jesus as Lord, if he’s already done that then how do you explain his actions?
He gave in to his flesh. Quoting Matthew: 41Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Just because a person has confessed Jesus as Lord does not mean that he'll never sin again. We are weak and we often fail - either by what we do (as in the case of the Deacon) or by what we fail to do (ignore the plight of the poor). But God is merciful & just and quick to forgive IF we repent and ask for His forgiveness.

Correct but Jesus was talking to people the other side of the cross who were not born again of the Spirit, they were saved under the Abrahamic Covenant.Yes we do sin, but only when we life according to the flesh.

I find it interesting that some of these non issues take up so much of our time, when what we should be doing is GOING into the world, telling people that God loves sinners, praying for the sick, casting out demons and loving the unlovely

At the time of our initial, authentic, God given faith, we are immersed into the Body by Jesus with the Holy Spirit (sealed with the seal of our inheritance). We become one with Him, actually "in Christ". At that same moment, we are imputed with Christ's perfect righteous. God recons us as perfectly righteous because of what Jesus did. ( justification)You cannot lose this because we are upheld by God's power (meaning those who are his will not fail). 1 Peter 1:4-5 God never fails. Philippians 1:6 He always finishes His work in those He started it in. 1 Peter 1:23, John 10:28-29. You can only evidence/manifest what you are, good tree, bad tree. Over time, for those who are truely His, He will manifest Himself in our lives more and more as we progressively begin to become what God already recons us to be "in Christ". (evidence of Christ working in us "saved")You cannot be unsealed with the holy Spirit, the PROMISE of our inheritance, anymore than a person can be unborn. The passage that Kriss quoted is an excellent example of what this dicussion is seeking to reveal from scripture. The context of that passage tells us that those people were professing faith in Jesus and going through the motions, but He *never* knew them. This again, is the self deception that we are warned about. I know exactly where you are going with this. The problem is not Yahshua being able to save every single souls...because He can. The problem with this is MANKIND refuse to believe what the Word of God says and won't return to the Father in His rightous ways as Yahshua is the only way to Heaven. (John 14:6) They are trying to find their own way to Heaven, but they will fail. Reminds me of Genesis 11, don't you think?JagLovest ye in Christ Yahshua, Saviour of the world.
